Provision of lunches and other social activity for older people

Provision of facilities and other leisure-time activities, not normally provided by the Local Authority, for older people within the local community.

The main activities involve operating a weekly Day Care Centre, which operates for 46 weeks of the year, with lunch, followed by discussions, Bingo sessions and other activities.In addition 1 outing is arranged each year to accessible seaside and/or historic towns including locally.

The activities and objectives of the club are to raise money by taking part in fetes and other income source activities to raise funds for the support of the poor and needy in Torbay and elsewhere in the world. Our accounts show that we supported a random selection of small charities plus a local school, providing an evenings entertainment at the local theatre for care home residents.

Support of Christian missionaries and workers, provision of literature, support of residential homes for elderly Christians, children's homes, and other activities charitable in law.

The relief of distress amongst foster carers working for Birmingham Social Services Department and specific family placement carers living in Birmingham and surrounding districts by provision of training, education advice, information and other charitable forms of support.

The Foundation's objective is the relief of sickness and the promotion of health in children and former members of the armed forces who are mentally or physically disabled. The ultimate goal is to build a unique property for providing or assisting in the provision of respite holidays at Habitat First Group sites.

Our team of local volunteers provide help and support to the local community. We offer befriending services, transport to appointments, some shopping assistance and a respite sitting service.

We support an Orphanage in Kenya, called FURAHA HOUSE. We presently have only 5 orphans and one house mother.We have started collaborating with with a local commubity based organisation called Manzoor Outrach Programme for Orphans and Vulnerables. (MOPOV), by providing funds raised in UK. We will e closing Furaha House at the end of 2021 as all the orphans will be back in the community.

The object of the Centre shall be to promote the relief of the aged in any manner which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable within St Giles and the surrounding area

CCCUK helps fund the education of street children and orphans in South Sudan. We help support an orphanage in Juba that originally housed 35 vulnerable girls. The numbers at the orphanage have swelled recently after the country's recent conflict. CCC in Juba funds the education of over 1000 children.

The Mayfly Project UK mentors children in foster care through the sport of fly fishing. Using trained volunteer mentors, we provide opportunities for children in care to have fun, build self-esteem and life skills, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.

New Dawn Association is an international humanitarian, non-profit making association and supports Orphanage in Kenya, Rwanda and Nepal.

To support the education and welfare of under priviledged children/young people in Tamil Nadu. This includes assissting an orphanage which provides accomodation and educational facilities. The orphanage also enhances employment opportunities in the local community to relieve poverty. To provide grants to school leavers and young adults to progress to further/higher education.

Heaven Homes is a non-profit organisation and our key aim is: To provide holistic care in our Children's Homes, Learning and Medical Centres which meets the fundamental needs of our beneficiaries, empowering them spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally.We aim to create opportunities which value our children, encourage creativity and position them as future leaders.

Drop In centre for tea and coffee and socialise

We are a drop in day centre for the elderly in the community. We also help with form filling, giving advice and English classes. We give information on disability and health on a regular basis to people that attend. We help with advice and carer support. Our facilities at the centre include, large number of books, tea & biscuit, food, large T.V, prayer facilities.
