To apply both the capital and income of the Benevolent Fund to or for the benefit of such poor, and distressed brother Masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or to or for the benefits of such Masonic Charities and all other institutions societies and objects as the Lodge shall in duly constituted meetings from time time direct.

Fund raise for Charities

Raising money for charitable purposes in the local area or for Provincial and National Fundraising

Fund raising between the members and fund raising events for the general public.

Local and national Masonic and Non-Masonic charities and charitable organisations.

ASSISTANCE TO FORMER AND CURRENT POST OFFICE WORKERS INCLUDING BRITISH TELECOMMUNICATIONS

To relieve distress locally, to support local charities.

The charity income is raised from various sources, e.g. a sponsored walk, bucket collections and a nunber of other events and donations. A town quiz was held again and we assisted in providing marshals at a local Air show.

Christian charity donations particularly to the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group who are based in London (Charity No. 1139527)

we make donations to local and masonic causes.

This Charity operates under the normal directives of ROTARY making donations to local worthwhile causes and to disaster events abroad. All donations are sanctioned by the Rotary Club of Newport Shropshire

RACE NIGHTS, SPONSORED EVENTS, GARDEN PARTIES, MEMBERS DONATIONS.SUPPORTING NATIONAL AND LOCAL CHARITIESS. GRANTS TO DESERVING LOCAL ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL. E.G. GUIDES, SCOUTS, PARTICIPANTS IN DISABLED GAMES.
