Relief of hardship of Members of The Chartered Institute of Marketing and their families.

The fund was formed in 1924. The sole object of the fund is: "To help necessitous persons who are or have been members of the Institute of Physics (whether subscribers or not), their wives, and children or widows or dependent relatives, or in exceptional cases, to help Physicists or the dependents who are not or have never been members of the Institute".

The aims of the Fund are to provide financial assistance to any League member or past or present member of the nursing staff of The Royal London Hospital, of whatever age, in need.

To render assistance to Dutch citizens living in the UK, irrespective of race and/or religion

Provision of financial support to racehorse trainers and ex-racehorse trainers who have fallen on hard times due to circumstances beyond their control and are in need of financial support. May also provide funding for schemes to help relieve beneficiaries from various welfare problems which they would not otherwise be able to fund themselves.

TO HOLD ALL MONIES WHICH MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE RECEIVED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF READING AND TO APPLY THESE FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY LIVING IN THE TERRITORIAL AREA OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF READING OR TO SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

Relieve the poverty of employees and former employees of the Bank or any subsidiary companies throughout the world and any dependants for the aforementioned.

Provide assistance in cash or in kind or in any other appropriate manner for the prevention or relief of poverty of any member/former member, or employee/former employee of Chartered Institute of Public Relations together with any close dependants/close dependants of any deceased member/former member with regard to their circumstances, status in life and need for such assistance.

Dispensation of funds for the benefit of poor and distressed Masons and their dependants of the Province of Cambridgeshire, Masonic charities and other charitable institutions,societies or objects.

The giving of grants to beneficiaries to relieve sickness, disability, infirmity and financial needs of those persons who have been engaged in any branch of the watch and clock trades and their widows or widowers

The Norfolk Constabulary Benevolent Fund was established to assist in needy cases of members, former members, their widows, orphans or dependants. It does this by paying grants and interest free loans where necessary and by the provision of holiday homes for rest and recuperation and for respite or convalescence.

(2) Relief of past & present members of the RAVC & their dependents in need by virtue of financial hardship, sickness or effects of old age by grants, loans, gifts, pensions or otherwise.

To raise funds to enable the Charity to meet its objectives of providing grants to any Masonic or other charity and to deserving cases in the Province and the local community.
