The Pop-in Centre provides social contact and refreshments in comfortable, friendly surroundings for six mornings a week for any person over 50. The Mini-bus serves folk with mobility problems or who are restricted for lack of public transport, taking them to larger towns and places of interest. We offer a door to door service, from the locality and surrounding villages.

Provide and maintain facilities for village activities including education classes, social events, over 50's monthly lunches and a 'Drop in Centre'. Organise advice on availability of social services, and arrange volunteer transport to medical appointments, for elderly residents. Fund raising is regularly undertaken to provide funds for these activities.

Bakewell Choral Society was formed to enable local people to come together to sing for pleasure. The choir is open to all who wish to sing. The Society puts on concerts each year featuring a variety of music. To enable people to attend our concerts we provide a free-to-user transport facility and this is provided by the Society using a local community bus service.

PROVIDES A MINIBUS FOR USE BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

All our work is with and for elderly people. Primarily we run a minibus to transport to supermarkets, luncheon and other clubs, and to special events and for outings. This service helps to maintain the elderly in their own homes and to improve their quality of life. We also make grants to local organisations catering for the elderly.

To raise funds to provide support to school projects that are outside of the school's normal budget, eg funding towards the purchase of a school minibus and providing funding for projects requested by the School and/or the School Council.

The charity aims to help provide services for the sick and infirm within the local community.The charity has two vehicles modified to carry wheelchair passengers. It provides transport for those people with mobility problems, in particular, the elderly and disabled.

Harrow Shopmobility is a mobility service loaning out electric or manual wheelchairs and scooters for day use.We hire out wheelchairs, travel scooters and walkers for longer term use.The Service is free for day use and open to people with limited mobility, whether permanent or temporary. The scheme is available to all and is based in Harrow,

Provide lunches for 60 (approx) senior citizens every Monday. Provide transport to and from the lunches and various other activities/meetings by means of own minibus adapted for wheelchairs and disabled persons.

Volunteers provide transport for the elderly frail to hospitals, surgeries and clinics. They also undertake shopping, befriending and the occasional odd job. A weekly escorted shopping by minibus provides social contact and enables elderly people to shop independently with help. Ipad familiarization sessions are also offered

A HELPING HAND FOR DISABLED AND ELDERLY PEOPLE AND THEIR CARERS IN BYFLEET AND WEST BYFLEET. VOLUNTEERS CAN PROVIDE TRANSPORT TO DO SHOPPING, GO TO DOCTORS OR HOSPITAL, GO VISITING ETC AND MAY BE ABLE TO CARRY OUT ODD JOBS.

The relief of the aged, infirm, blind and physically handicapped people resident in Crewkerne and the neighbourhood by the provision of transport.

Friday lunch club for over sixties in Bentham area. Minibus with disabled access to and from the lunch club and regular outings.

We provide a door to door minibus service for all members of the local community, to any destination of their choice. This service is especially helpful for elderly, infirm or disabled persons who are unable to use public transport, or public transport is not available.

We exist to benefit the students of Lexden Springs Residential Special School, their families, teachers and carers.Our largest fundraising undertaken to date was c. £100,000 for specialist playground equipment. Other significant expenditures have been to provide holidays for students and minibuses.
