The Charity makes donations within its objectives to promote and support in particular the areas of education of the public in relation to agriculture, education of young people in rural areas, relief of poverty in rural areas, promotion of the social welfare in rural communities, promotion of research into agriculture and advancement of the education of the public in relation to insurance.

Lifeline offers a client led and holistic response to very vulnerable people in great need. The Caerlow Trust selects organisations to support following careful research and in line with the priorities of the Trust, which are broadly related to relieving homelessness, food poverty and addiction in the UK. It does not accept unsolicited applications for funding.

To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to advancing the Jewish religion, advancing Jewish religious education and the alleviation of poverty among the Machnovke Belz community in Bene Berak, Israel and Jewish communities throughout the world.
