The trustees meet twice a year to consider requests from individuals and charities living or operating in the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. We help vulnerable clients with a wide range of urgent essential needs and provide most requests within 24 hours.

We support the protection, preservation and enhancement of gardens and open spaces which are open to the public, particularly in disadvantaged parts of London. We also assist gardens in schools. We do this by giving modest grants and providing advice and information.

To promote the Christian faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by reaching out to those in need through evangelism and outreach. To assist those in conditions of need, hardship and distress by providing practical help, financial help, bible teaching and fellowship.

The aims of the Charity are to relieve poverty by the provision of social housing in the form of almshouse accommodation for the beneficiaries and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide. The Charity owns three almshouses in the parish of Longford, Ashbourne which provide accommodation for local residents. The properties are currently fully occupied.
