Providing accomodation for social events, whist drives, judo, dog training and a field for small caravan rallies. Parking is available for ramblers and is often used by pigeon fanciers to release their birds.

Maulden branch of the Women's Institute offers opportunities for all women to enjoy friendship, to learn, to widen their horizons and together to influence national and international affairs. The International Duke Elder Medal was endowed by Lady Duke Elder in 1980. The Fund provides for the medal an oration and associated expenses. The medal is awarded 4 yearly to an ophthalmologist who has contributed most to the development of international relations and friendship between ophthalmologists, and who has advanced the field by contributions in writing and organization in ophthalmology.

Parish Hall - Relgious and social activities

We provide financial and social support to Adult Renal patients under Wessex Kidney Care that reside on the Isle of Wight. We achieve this through fundraising and social events throughout the year and donations from patients or families. All applications are approved by the committee members prior to financial support being offered.

To advance the education of pupils in the school by encouraging parents to become involved in their children's education; fundraising to provide goods and services to support the school and advance the education of the pupils and; social events for parents and pupils to build and maintain the school community.

The Society organises an annual Music Festival of mostly competitive classes held in 3 or 4 venues in the seaside town of Hornsea over a period of either 3 or 4 days. It is held during the first week of July. Fund raising social events such as Coffee Mornings and Garden Parties may be held at other times throughout the year.

The Friends of Strathmore School (FOSS) works to help the special needs pupils, many severely disabled, at The Strathmore School in Petersham.FOSS raises funds to help fund education ressources , hold social events and assists the staff to enrich the children's quality education and leisure.FOSS also has the role of a Parent/Teacher Association.
