Friends of Burnage Library Ltd. provides a range of learning, cultural, creative and social activities at Burnage Library and Activity Hub, Manchester. Our volunteer team also work alongside partners to provide an outreach library service.

The Trust provides a wide and diverse range of activities for older people in Sawbridgeworth. Activities include quizzes, outings, keep fit, cooked lunches, cinema experience, chiropody, hearing aid support, art, I.T. training, whist, bingo, musical afternoons, poetry goup and the opportunity for social interaction aimed at avoiding isolation and depression among older people.

Apeb is the parents association of Ecole Bilingue. It organises After school clubs for the children, the winter fair and other community activities throughout the year (bread sales..). It can provide financial help for children to attend school trips who would otherwise not be able to attend those trips. It also organises various events for parents to discuss common education issues and socialise.

Social interaction, for frail and or socially isolated older people,providing help and support to vulnerable older adults. A hot two course meal is provided. Activities include , quizzes, bingo, entertainment, speakers, outings, summer garden party & special Christmas lunch. Open three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 50 weeks of the year.

The Centre is used for community sporting and social events including karate; table tennis; meetings of different content; dancing; parties, etc. The area is classified as rural.

Facilities are also used by the disabled & we provide meeting rooms for local groups, associations & charities. It is also used for a wide range of social activities.
