ACTIVITIES CONFORM WITH THE CONSTITUTION OF THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE -EDUCATION AND FRIENDSHIP

We are part of the National Federation of Women's Institutes. We offer members the opportunity to enjoy friendship within their local community, develop their skills and talents through lifelong learning,improve the quality of life in the community.

Social meetings and outings for members of the two villages who are aged 60 and over.

Run and maintain Norton Village Hall as a community facility to provide a base for village organisations and social events as per lease with Apley Estates.

Educational and friendship activities.

General fundraising and social activities involving villagers and local events.

Freehold Village hall for benefit of Mamhead Parish and surrounding area since before 1927. Social events, hall hire. Running cost fundraisers - skittles,talks,dinners,Whist,family parties,classes, exhibitions,walks,dances etc.Others as projects complete. Projects in hand for sustainability,accessibility and renovation of this historic building

GLYN HALL provides accommodation for local organisations connected with arts and music, education, social events, society meetings, birthday parties, exercise classes.It is situated at 3a Cheam Road, Ewell village, Epsom, Surrey KT17 1SP

The PTA supports the school through fundraising activities and general aid to school events, and provides social events for parents.

The friends of Saint Georges School fundraise for the school and organise social events providing links between parents, teachers, children and the local community.

Group is non political, non-sectarian, open to all women, whatever their age and interest. A wide range of activities to cater for all tastes are the main aim of the committee, the emphasis is on self-development. Our constitution is to advance education, provide recreation and friendship.

Youth Club catering for young people aged 8 years old to 18 years old. Offering facilities to socialise and mix with other young people. We offer arts and craft and sport.

Hold events at the school such as : disco, BBQ, May Fayre, Social Event, Panto, Christmas Fair etc...... to raise funds for the school to purchase extra equipment for all the children to benefit from.

Provide support, friendship and comfort by way of social activities for people who have suffered a stroke or strokes within the area of the Borough of Southend-on-Sea.

Hersham Women's Institute is a flourishing members organisation with 56 members providing educational and social activities for all women in our community.

Church, skittles group, bingo, Community social events such as quiz, themed meals, country walks

Managing and developing the Village Hall on behalf of the local Community. The hall is used, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of leisure activities.The sole purpose of the village hall is to provide opportunities for people from the local and wider community to meet, socialise and interact with each other.
