West Lane Baptist Church provides an area for regular worship, and an active Sunday School. Additional activities the Church supports are monthly Drop- ins,Youth Group,Film Cafes. The church is open to the church family and the local community for a variety of regular events: Operatic Society,Bronte Society meetings and events,Parish Council meetings,exercise classes, Film Club and social events.

The charity provides a venue for local groups and provides facilities for education, sporting and social activities for villagers and those who live in close proximity to Coaley.

We have 43 interest groups including art languages history music poetry and science. Physical activities include badminton, walking dancing and tai chi. The organisation is run entirely by U3A members and the committee of trustees meets monthly. We have a monthly general meetings with a speaker and monthly coffee drop ins. We also organise social events for members.

Prince Philip Centre PHAB (physically disabled/able bodied) Club meets on Friday evenings. Members aged 9-90 enjoy social, educational and recreational activities, live in the Leeds Metropolitan area. Members are welcome with a physical or mild learning disability, or an illness which may be life limiting. The able bodied members join as 'buddies' not carers to share activities and friendship.

Karibu provides its members and the public with information, advice and support, dealing with family; isolation; health and well being; and education. We are the hub of the local African community, dealing with ethnic and cultural diversity. Members meet once a month, ensuring the enhancement of social inclusion. Karibu runs weekly health & well being activities for all & classes for children .

Fosters and encourages the sport of rowing - for students of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. Recruits members primarily from former members of the college Boat Club. Members' subscriptions are added to the charity's endowment. Funds are raised by social events for members and their guests. The charity purchases equipment, including boats and oars, and donated this to the club.

O.P.A.L. Centre is a special needs play scheme that delivers a child-centred, personalised provision, always with the child in mind. It works with children and young people aged 6-25 giving them a chance to socialise, explore new opportunities and learn skills through the means of play. O.P.A.L. Centre will allow children the freedom and independence to choose their own activities.

HME - The New Generation provides support forums for those affected by Hereditary Multiple Exostoses by way of a closed Facebook Group, Zoom get togethers and annual face-to-face meetings. We also organise occasional social events such as an on-line quiz night. The charity also provides information about the condition with material available to raise public awareness.
