LEUCAN embraces families living in the area from Shoreham to Chichester with children with leukaemia, cancer or bone marrow failure. The self-help group offers comfort, support and advice, along with financial assistance to families who have unexpected expenses and travel costs. The group also organises social events to enable families to meet in informal situations.

We provide a once a week psycho-geriatric day club at a hired venue in Willenhall. This is to support elderly people (over 50) who are frail or withdrawn as the result of mental, pyschological or physical illness or disability and for whom socialising is an important route to improved health.

Provision of small donations and/or Christmas hampers to individuals, families or groups within the Parish of Stapleford Abbotts, including those who are in bad health, provide full time care or have suffered from other difficult circumstances. Raise funds for the benefit of village elders 65+ of the whole parish. Also upkeep the 65 club building which is used several times a week for social events.

Weardale YFC is for young people aged between 10- 26 years. Meetings are held fortnightly on a Tuesday night throughout the year. The programme throughout the year includes; talks, meetings, visits including Stock judging, quizzes, bowling, rock climbing, and many more.Each year we hold social events to raise money towards ourselves and a chosen charity decided by the club.

Broadcasting to the patients and staff of the Hinckley hospitals and health centres, plus internet streaming of the service for the social inclusion of ill, isolated and vulnerable people within the PCT area.Providing PA and hosting to Carnivals and events within the local area.

The charity is responsible for the Wollerton Village Room which is available to all local residents for cultural, sporting and recreational purposes. Use of the Village Room over recent years has been made by the Parish Council, slimming club, dog training club, gardening club as well as for bridge, bingo and various private social events.

Arford is part of Hampshire Women's Institute and meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at the church centre in Headley. The W.I's activities are centred on promoting friendship, companionship and education within the local community. The WI are also involved in important debates which affect the whole country and other peoples worldwide.

Amateur sport .Recreation and companionship, including a weekly club night and pleasure and interest trips out.The charity provides buildings/open space. this is for people with learning disabilities.

THE WI GIVES COMPANIONSHIP - EDUCATION AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE ELDERLY, THOSE PROJECTS ARE FUNDED BY OURSELVES BY ATTENDING FETES - COFFEE MORNINGS ETC

Charitable donations are collected from lodge members with additional funds being obtained from organised social events.

Monthly meeting for educational and social activities for local women

A rural youth movement for young people aged 10-26 years. Members gain recognised skills and confidence in many activities such as public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports, stock-judging and stock presentation. The opportunity to travel and attend meetings and social events to fundraise for their club and the local community. This is a member led organisation.

A local woman's group which is part of a national organisation, we meets monthly to learn about diverse topics, discuss a variety of issues, and socialise within a village community. Helping out at local events and supporting other local charities.

Tiptree Priory Heath WI meets monthly on the second Friday of each month in St Luke's Church Hall at 2.00pm. We seek to improve women's quality of life and environment by providing friendship, support and opportunities including leisure, cultural, educational and sporting activities whether at local or national level.
