The Brazilian Educational and Cultural Centre promotes and disseminates information about Brazil and the Portuguese language fostering understanding and appreciation for Brazilian culture, literature, music, art, and dance. Our organization serves Brazilians, friends of Brazil and mixed families as a resource for educational programs, social events and cross-cultural exchange.

To provide a part time community based open access youth club and positive activities for young people aged between 8-19 years in a fun, caring environment that aims to improve social interaction and self development of its members.

We enable people in Kew, in the London Borough of Richmond, to remain independent for as long as possible. We work closely with individuals and organisations to support people who have difficulty getting out and about, or who would appreciate a little regular company, by providing access to reliable, neighbourly help. Our volunteers offer driving, companionship, shopping, and light gardening.

We offer lifelong learning skills to adults with disabilities including registered blind and partially sighted. These skills are aimed at increasing independence whilst encouraging social interaction and self-confidence in a friendly and informal environment. We offer courses in Computing, Cookery, Literacy, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Music Therapy and seated Yoga.

To provide educational and social activities to the community, to administer and maintain a Community Centre.

The Charity is a community Church, that has settled in a new building at SW11 2HH. Our activities include Sunday Services at 11am, weekly virtual bible studies , bi-weekly prayer meetings and a late night prayer meeting on the last Friday of every month. Social activities include: Friends In Battersea for over 50s, annual seaside trips and Love Battersea collaborative community event.

Provide help and support, promote social inclusion, independence and a better quality of home life to the elderly and those of poor mental health, limited finances, failing health or reduced mobility living in South Brent & district.Help is provided by carefully selected, trained & fully supported volunteers & includes: befriending, transport, carer support, gardening, shopping & signposting.

Our Free Minds CIO builds and maintains project based learning communities for young people in South West England, providing an opportunity to develop skills, practice citizenship and socialise.

We are based in Hove and provide a meal on a bi-weekly basis for elderly and isolated people and also for adults with learning disabilities. Community transport is provided if required. Food is largely supplied by Fareshare which helps to tackle food waste. We also run healthy eating cooking clubs.

Activities include advice and advocacy, luncheon clubs, shopping scheme, day trips, friendship groups, exercise groups, healthy eating activities and public health information sessions.

Religious festivals and Cultural events are provided to advance arts, culture and Hindu Bengali heritage. We have a calendar of events that helps celebrate Hindu Bengali religious festivals, social events to unite the community and cultural events to help promote Hindu Bengali artistes. Our premises can also be used for private celebrations and events (private kitchen/car parking available)

The ?Active Therapy Foundation? was formed to promote social inclusion, provide an innovative and dedicated coaching therapy programme and to make "Active therapy" available to all by promoting the skills of the members of the disabled community in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.

Assist and support visually impaired in Selby District by supplying information, specialised equipment, advice, home visits, and social events. Social events include Bowls, Crafts, Knitting, Coffee mornings and fundraising events. We have open 4 days a week a Resource Centre to view specialised equipment and for demonstration. Some equipment available on loan.

Provide Sport activities for young people, Currently have 22 Football teams.Young people are encouraged to enjoy sport but also socialize in the clubhouse with other players friends and family

FAYAP operates the following clubs, groups and sessions: Friday Night Youth, Lunch, Art, Music, Drama, After-School Drop-In, LGBTQIA, Outreach and Mentoring. We rent our facilities to other community groups and have the support of the local police and Town Council. We aim to help the wider community by reducing the anti-social activities arising from young people hanging around with nothing to do
