Grace Gospel Church gathers for Worship, preaching the Gospel of Christ, Bible study and prayer and is involved in outreach to asylum speakers, giving practical help such as clothes and transport as well as spiritual guidance and friendship. The outreach is mainly to the Ethiopian and Eritrean community, but the church holds conferences that are open to anyone to attend.

Working with and through others we hope to develop a community hub, which not only uses the resources of Pocklington Rugby Club but also support the development and increase in activity provision and social interaction for people of all ages.

The village hall is used for a variety of social events by clubs and associations and private use. The trustees organize a range of events including exhibitions, social and theatre evenings and supper events. the annual flower show and monthly markets. The PCC also hosts community events and activities. The hall is used from time to time by local businesses and Wealden DC.

HTC was formed in 1999 with the merger of The Henfield Players and Henfield Choral Society. It presents at least four major productions a year - plays, musicals, pantomimes. Other activities include workshops, playreadings, fundraising and social events. It has a thriving youth section.

Shardlow Village Hall serves as a hub for community activity, hosting a diverse range of events, meetings and activities. The venue offers a welcoming space for various local groups, such as fitness groups, playgroups, the WI, the local football club, and many more. It offers local residents of all ages a space to gather, socialise, and engage in a wide range of activities.

Jehovah Evangelical team ministry is a pastoral care and outreach that organises seminars and revival to advance christian faith. We conduct discussion groups and offer counselling to support the community. We raise awareness and understanding of our beliefs by setting up annual charity events whereby the community congregates, listen to words of God, socialise and distribute religious materials.

Opening 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday, and also provide hot lunches on 3 days each week. We continue to use our mini bus for local and occasional trips to the mainland.
