To promote humane behaviour towards horses by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for those which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances, through the provision of facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and the rehoming of them.

We are part of the Trussell Trust network of Foodbanks and offer nutritionally balanced food parcels (sufficient for 3 days) to folk in our local community who are in need and who come to us with a voucher from one of our referral partners, such as doctors, CAB, housing officers etc. The food we offer is generously donated to us by our local community.

We operate Braich Goch; a residential learning centre, sanctuary space, and community hub for individuals & community groups working to combat the sources and effects of inequality, poverty, discrimination and oppression. We are especially committed to working with young adults from refugee and migrant backgrounds, to develop networks, access opportunities, and gain new skills and knowledge.

Provide opportunities in the performing arts where other support may not be available. Engage with individuals and groups in guidance as to development and opportunities. Engage with the existing performance arts educational system in providing support. Promote equality, diversity and social inclusion.Provide quantified financial support when authorised by the trustees.

The relief of poverty by assisting persons in need to build their homes

The charity exists to contribute to the advancement of the Christian religion through providing support to other organisations working to advance the Christian faith, providing relief of need, enabling community development and the relief and prevention of poverty.

To enable:1.The relief of poverty/financial hardship and ending social exclusion of those whose immigration status is unresolved.2. British and foreign nationals and asylum seekers to have their human rights recognised in accordance with British and EU law and under the UN Conventions. 3. Persons who have been trafficked to the UK by the provision of legal advice and representation.

The relief of poverty, the preservation and protection of good health and the advancement of education for the public benefit among people in need in Gujranwala, Pakistan and Manchester, England by the provision of food and clothing, payment of medical bills and school fees and by such other charitable means as the trustees shall determine.

Faith In Action Merton Homelessness Project operates a Drop-In centre for street sleepers and the vulnerably housed, offering friendship, hot meals, showers, washing machine, fresh clothes and help with moving on. It also provides accommodation in a Winter NIght Shelter.

To promote charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents of Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen within the Borough of Richmond upon Thames, by providing assistance and support to relieve the needs, distress or suffering of the inhabitants.

The relief of food poverty

Porridge and Pens works with some of the most disadvantaged children and young adults in Ghana. We do this by providing access to free education, medicine, safe shelter and school meals so young people can create their own bright and sustainable futures, free from poverty.

The Together Project runs activities linking different age groups in order to reduce loneliness and strengthen community connections. These include in-person events, such as music groups in care homes and storytelling groups in libraries, as well as friendships formed through the post via a penpal scheme. The charity also offers training and consultancy and operates on a national scale.

To promote any charitable purpose for the benefits of the wider community by advancing education, protecting health, relieving poverty, distress and sickness, to promote cultural activities and generally undertake any charitable activities.To give advice in social welfare, immigration, debt etc and counselling for victims of domestic violence and mental health.

The Shaw Centre provides day care for adults with learning disabilities who are Manchester residents. The centre aims to provide activities that encourage social interaction, a healthy lifestyle and integration into the local community. Activities provided include Tai Chi, Swimming, Percussion, outings, zumba, the gym and socialising.

Evolve Counselling, formerly known as Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling, was originally set up in 1978, with the objects of provide relief to those suffering from poverty, sickness, and distress by providing assistance for such persons in the for of counselling: and providing support to counsellors. NDE Network provides care for vulnerable children in Uganda through the Kampala Children's Centre and Destiny Africa Children's Choir. We provide education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment, breaking cycles of poverty and giving children the start in life they deserve. We at SOCF and surrounding areas will work for THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND SICKNESS; THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE

The services will be targeted to fulfil the specific needs of the beneficiaries in the community with the intent to promote community development, alleviate poverty and social deprivation either directly (for example through food support services) or indirectly (for example through training courses to support people to gain employment and work their way out of poverty).
