The main objectives of the Charity are the relief of persons resident in the area of benefit who are in need, hardship or distress and assisting those not for profit organisations in the community supporting the well being of the residents.

The charity seeks to maintain, advance and promote the Christian faith, and to relieve poverty and suffering, particularly of Christians suffering discrimination and persecution because of their faith. Grants are made to enable local project partners to support persecuted Christians in their areas. Assistance is also given to connected charities in circumstances that fall under these objects.

The Drinks Trust is the trade charity for people who are currently working, or have worked, in the UK drinks industry in any role and in any sector, and our mission is to help colleagues who are facing a variety of difficult circumstances, including illness, disability, issues with stress or depression, and more.

Nucleus combats poverty by providing advice and access to social welfare advice through telephone advice, face to face advice and representation.

Raises funds and distributes to the poor and needy

The charity operates a hospice called Peace Hospice Care. It provides comprehensive multidisciplinary specialist palliative care without charge and discrimination for the people of Hertfordshire. Services include daycare,inpatient care,home care,family support and spiritual care. Continuing support is provided for family and friends through into bereavement.

To provide free counselling to residents of Hammersmith & Fulham

To relieve, mitigate and prevent poverty suffering and distress. To relieve in cases of need hardship or distress young persons who are homeless or likely to become homeless, provide or assist directly or indirectly in the provision of temporary accommodation for homeless young persons in the town of Newark-on-Trent, in the County of Nottinghamshire.

The advancement of the Christian religion by making grants to assist the clergy, both active and retired and their dependants,in the major branches of the Christian church in the UK. The welfare of both poor members and widows of congregations of the Catholic Apostolic Church. The maintenance of remaining Catholic Apostolic Church buildings and their use for worship by other Churches as agreed.

Providing supported work experience and skills training to people who are disabled or disadvantaged, enabling them to contribute to the community and where possible progress into unsupported employment.

Established to provide safe accommodation for women and women with children in need of a supportive environment together with an outreach centre, to those in the community experiencing violence and domestic abuse in their lives.

Community Transport - Dial-a-Ride service

Provides free management support to voluntary organisations addressing issues of poverty, disability and social exclusion, working with a register of volunteers from the commercial sector.

The primary object of the Hewer-White Trust is to provide financial or other assistance and relief to persons experiencing financial difficulties, or that require emotional or physical support with the provision of living accommodation, furnished or unfurnished.

The Charity's objects are to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas by the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

Making grants to institutions to advance Jewish religous education and relieve poverty

The trust aims to enhance the lives of disadvantaged young people (ages 5 - 19) mainly in London and the South East. The trust wishes to encourage disadvantaged and vulnerable young people away from anti-social behaviour and criminal activity, enabling them to fulfill their potential. the Trustees prefer to support projects that continue to have an impact after support has ended.
