NOTDEC UK provides financial support for the work of NOTDEC Uganda. Motherless babies and abandoned children are cared for in our purpose built facility, before returning to relatives in the community. NOTDEC UK funds, the staffing and running costs of the residential facility, the children's food, clothing, education and medical treatment, plus support in the wider community.

The Charity's activities revolve around freehold properties in Kingsbridge. The Town Hall and Market Hall are hired out to various local charities, churches, clubs and societies. The Charity also provides social rented housing to residents of Kingsbridge who would otherwise be unable to find affordable housing in the town. The objective of the Fifty Fund is to provide the relief of persons resident in Nottinghamshire who are in need, hardship or distress and, as far as possible, funds are used in this way. We are a group of women living in community under vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. Our works include hospitality for retreats and other purposes, counselling, spiritual direction, preaching, leading quiet days, participation in missions and both voluntary and part-time paid work for other agencies. The pay supports the work of the community in out different houses.

Our services help to keep Chinese Elders in independent living as long as possible. We provide Domiciliary Care and Respite Services , Personal Wellbeing Services, a pre and post diagnostic dementia support service. Our Evergreen Club provides health talks including Covid related and various activities which reduce social isolation, loneliness and help to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

The short & long term objects of the Charity are for the Skillway arm to provide apprentice style training for young people up to school leaving age in a variety of manual skills,together with pastoral support and for The Cellar Camino Cafe to remain a focal point of serving presence and love with an openess to receiving all those who are lonely or distressed.

SAMM is an independent voluntary organisation. We offer help and support to those bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter. Our volunteers have been similarly bereaved and can share what this feels like.
