The Foundation supports the following; Social Welfare - particularly the relief of need, hardship and distress, Community Development, work which supports Children, Young People and the Elderly, local Hospitals and Hospices and Christian Activities. Grants can be one-off or recurrent and are made primarily in Tyneside and Northumberland.

The aim of Beaford Arts is to work with the people of Devon, primarily in the Northern region, to deliver an inspiring and imaginative programme of high quality creative arts projects, events and activities and helping to address the issues of rural isolation and social exclusion; and to run a residential centre for the arts with a priority for educative work with young people.

The income from the assets of the Charity is held on trust to apply the same for the benefit of needy persons in the City of Worcester. Needy persons are defined for the purposes of the Charity as persons who by reason of poverty, sickness or infirmity whether young or old are in need of financial assistance, care or attention.

The Trust arose from the wish of Thomas Wall II in 1920 and gives grants for the assistance, support and encouragement of (a) individuals who have financial difficulties but who wish to pursue vocational courses and (b) registered charities for specific projects showing originality in the fields of education and social service in its broadest sense.

The object of the charity is the advancement of education and relief of poverty and hunger among needy human communities in any part of the world. Support was provided to local community and youth activities.

The principal activities of the social enterprise are an artisan bakery, bicycle workshop and light manufacturing. This work provides time limited (usually 3 months) trainee placements for men and women who suffer from mental ill health and forms a part of their recovery and social inclusion. Link House Trust (a Christian charity) provides a supportive 'home from home' for overseas graduate students on first arrival in the UK and Cambridge, encouraging friendship & international understanding among these key people in tomorrow's world. It accommodates 36 students of any culture or religion. Over 750 students from more than 100 countries have enjoyed what Link House offers since 1988,

The Abbey Road Centre (Canolfan Abbey Road) is a community resource centre providing support, information and resources to promote better mental health. Support may be accessed via befriending and counselling, workshops and training, activities and complimentary therapies. We host other relevant organisations who deliver their services on site.
