BOAT (Blackfriars Overseas Aid Trust) provides support for the charitable activities of organisations and societies in the relief of poverty and the advancement of education.

The objects of the charity are to further education, advance of the Christian faith, encourage missionary activity, relieve the poor and needy and to provide help and comfort for the sick and aged, to raise awareness of the needs of people, and to promote unity among the Church.

Relief of the poor and the support of ancient and historical buildings in the Parish of Dartmouth and particularly within the Parish of St Petrox, Dartmouth.

Activities to relieve suffering, distress & poverty via ourselves & other outlets. Help to RBC Ministries/Gt. Nth. Air Ambulance/Unicef/Barnabus Fund & Various other Charities plus Disaster requests.Human resources & Church space (disability ok!) available to community for advocacy, advice & leisure. Church Services:- general, weekly Am; 1st Pm monthly at nearby sheltered housing complex.

Promote community events. Provide facilities for other registered charities. Encourage young people in participation of the community events. Provide social events for elderly.Dancing school for young people, old time dancing, snooker, pool, darts, bingo, quiz for all ages, disabled access and facilities.

The Charity exists to maintain and manage 10 almshouses in its ownership for poor persons of good character who are members of the Roman Catholic Church.

To provide/assist in the provision of resources & facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation/leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstancesTo advance the education of the public generally on reuse of scrap and waste materials for environmental protection

Provision of Almshouse accommodation to poor persons of good character who (except in special cases to be approved by the Charity Commissioners) are to be resident in the Borough of Stamford at the time of appointment

THE PROVISION OF ONE BEDROOMED BUNGALOWS TO PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER AND LIMITED MEANS WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO THOSE RESIDING WITHIN THE FORMER COUNTY BOROUGH OF DONCASTER. REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED AND OCCUPANCY GRANTED AFTER INTERVIEW TO DETERMINE NEED AND COMPATIBILITY WITH EXISTING OCCUPANCY PROFILE. PAYMENT OF PENSION NOT EXCEEDING -12.00 EVERY 28 DAYS TO THE NEEDY POOR.

The principal objects of the Charity are:(a) to relieve members of the Order who are in need, hardship or distress;(b) to provide and maintain residential homes for the use of such members;(c) to relieve or provide residential homes for dependants of members;(d) to relieve former members and their dependants as per (c);(e) to further other charitable purposes as Trustees determine.

We provide and maintain community sports and recreation facilities for people of all ages in Nunthorpe, Marton and Ormesby. Through football, cricket, racket sports, running, quoits, volunteering and community activities, we promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and active lifestyles while preserving open space for public benefit

Helps present/past employees, dependants, of grain/related trades, agricultural merchants, feed compounders, flour millers, seed processors and others. Help is to people of all ages, is usually financial, in form of grants or help with utility and other bills.

Copperdale provides a home for homeless young people aged between 15 - 24, providing 24 hour a day support and aims to empower marginalised young people to gain better life chances. An additional project, The United Estates of Wythenshawe, provides an alternative community centre which is open to all ages including young people who are at risk of becoming involved in gangs and poor life choices.

The object of the Charity shall be to relieve either generally or individually pesons resident in the area of the ancient parish of milton Bryan who are in conditions of need,hardship or distress

Providing accommodation via twelve properties in Wootton Fitzpaine to cater for the special needs of persons needing care and attention through age, infirmity, sickness, disability or poverty and either having been born in the parish of Wootton Fitzpaine or having resided in the parish or the immediate vicinity for not less than five years.

Nightwatch provides food, clothing and resettlement goods to homeless and otherwise very poor and vulnerable people.

Franche Community Church is about building relationships which are accepting and caring, impacting and meeting needs in our community with the love of God, through pastoral ministry and practical actions. We have been operating an independent food bank from the church plus bread distribution by recommendation only, to the many needy people including via schools in the area.

The Society offers various services across the Shrewsbury Diocese these include: Community Action Support, Family Groups, School Social work, Home Visiting Service, School Counselling, Parenting programmes We also offer delivery of courses and training focused on children, family and community were children are bereaved or grieving.
