We work to prioritise wellbeing into later life by engaging older people creatively through meaningful activity, training and supporting carers to enrich the lives of older people, reducing social isolation by connecting them to their local communities and speaking up for the rights of older people

The principle activity will be the collection of non perishable food by public donation at supermarkets, from churches and elsewhere eg. schools and harvest festivals. the produce will be distributed as emergency parcels sufficient for an individual or family to cover a period of three days. Nobody in need will be turned away. We plan to imitate the model created by the Trussell Trust.

Services for the general public and / or older people living in Essex and Suffolk. The services offered are: advice and support with claiming benefits, care, consumer, energy, advocacy and information: social clubs and friendship activity: mental health support, emotional support, end of life, bereavement and dementia support.

Provision of day services and social activities for adults with Cerebral Palsy and associated disabilities

The charity provides practical help to cancer patients and their families from diagnosis through to end of life care. We have a team of volunteer drivers who provide transport to and from hospital for appointments and treatment. Cash grants can be made available where appropriate. We fund various services through the Palliative Care Service and are the parent charity for the Rainbow Hospice Rooms

Better World operates several educational projects each working within its own restricted budget and funds. It provides education to the Jewish and wider community, in a spirit of idealism and wisdom with an emphasis on encouraging volunteering with the disadvantaged and gratitude. All programmes are focused on being accessible to the financially disadvantaged.

Our mission is to 1) Provide relief to any person experiencing poverty primarily in north east England. We will do this, in particular but not exclusively, through the provision of food, education and other resources which they could not otherwise afford.2) Promote wellbeing and mental health for those who give and receive aid.

Bulky Bob?s Limited collects bulky household waste from the general public. Wherever possible, furniture collected through this service is either sold at a low price or donated to people who need it in order to relieve furniture poverty. Also, Bulky Bob?s Limited provides salaried training and development opportunities to formerly long-term unemployed people or people on relatively low income.

Common Wealth Theatre is a registered charity whose purpose is the advancement of the arts for the public benefit with particular but not exclusive reference to the performing arts. We promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
