The main social event of each year is a Gala Dinner at Lincoln's Inn, London where in 1896 the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was called to the Bar. This is usually in June. The residents of the Almshouses shall be persons of not less than 55 years of age and must have resided within an area within 1 1/2 miles from St Marks Church at Low Moor.

The PTFA is focused in two areas:1. to organize events and schemes for fundraising2. to implement social activities within the community to bring together children, parents/carers and teachers. The PTFA works very close with the school to improve life at school for the children and the community.

THE AIMS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO ASSIST BY DONATION REGISTERED CHARITIES ESTABLISHED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, WELFARE AND RELIEF OF POVERTY PARTICULARLY AMONGST THOSE PERSONS OF THE JEWISH FAITH.

PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY ONE YEARS WHO RESIDE WITHIN A RADIUS OF FIFTY MILES OF PRESTON CITY CENTRE.GRANTS ARE PROVIDED FOR SPECIALIST MEDICAL ATTENTION AND EQUIPMENT, TO RELIEVE HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS, TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES.

Age Concern Deepings provide the following services: day care centre, luncheon club, Sunday club, visiting service, handyman service, minibus operation.

To assist present or past members of The Magic Circle in need, their spouses, civil or domestic partners, children and/or dependents, including, for the avoidance of any doubt, those of a deceased member.

Grants are made to registered charities whose objectives are either the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or the advancement of religion.

We promote the social welfare of all those living within our area of benefit. We manage Lawn Community Centre to further this aim. We endeavour to run it in an efficient way as cost effectively as possible. We organise social events in Lawn Community Centre and promote activities elsewhere in the neighbourhood. We support local groups when appropriate.

Makes grants to individuals for the relief of poverty.

The charity raises and applies funds to give aid to distressed past and present members of the Guild of Freemen of the City of London, their dependants and relatives. It also supports the educational needs of the disadvantaged at schools linked to the city of London, and it provides grants to benefit young people, the infirm, the aged and the needy, primarily in the Greater London Area

HNA offer the disadvantaged from all age ranges, and community groups, opportunities to find new strengths and resources within themselves; develop teamwork, interdependence, leadership skills, initiative and independence and to encourage growth in personal belief and confidence. The HNA boats and their environs provide a challenging and proven background to nurture these personal attributes.

Provides a venue for a wide range of regular activities organised by local groups and individuals as well as well as being a meeting place and a venue for social events.

The organisation of fund raising events and the making of charitable grants.

Lewisham Polish Centre tries to help people of Polish origin to adjust to life in London, help those of old age, sick or disabled; help in gaining better education and maintaining usage of Polish language; relieve the poverty amongst the beneficiaries; cultivate Roman Catholic faith.

Providing a centre for elderly people of Perranporth and District to meet on a daily basis, providing social events, outings, advice and help.

The relief of persons resident in the parish of Watlington who arein need, hardship or distress or sick, convalescent, disabled or infirmby relieving their suffering or assisting their recovery.In exceptional cases the Trustees may decide to assist someone (who must otherwise be qualified) who is resident immediately outside the area of benefit or only temporarily resident in the area.

To apply both the capital and income of the fund to or for the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object.

To provide facilities for local community groups to meet ie: Playgroup, Beavers and cubs, friendship club.

ALL MONIES,BOTH CAPITAL AND INCOME ON CAPITAL ARE USED FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY, OR TO, OR FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES, INSTITUTION, SOCIETY OR OBJECT AS HUNSTANTON & DISTRICT ROTARY CLUB SHALL, IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.
