Our overall mission is to contribute to poverty reduction in Africa by working with partner organisations and our supporters in the UK to empower people to build viable and sustainable livelihoods through the delivery of skills training and through the provision of tools for their trades.We have a network of over 800 UK volunteers who contribute by refurbishing tools.

Provide free specialised support, advocacy and counselling services to survivors of rape, sexual violence and abuse in Southend-on-Sea and it's environs.

We provides educational opportunities for southern Africa through scholarships and community-based projects, building the skills and leadership required to facilitate development in the region, and using our networks to enable development practitioners from all over the region to share their knowledge. We aim in particular to improve access to education for disadvantaged groups.

The Four Daughters Charitable Trust has been set up to promote charitable activities in the areas of Education and Training, Health, disability and poverty.

This charity runs "Meadowside" a residential home for up to 11 residents with varying degrees of learning and/or physical disabilities, which has been their home for up to 30 years. Respite Care is also provided. Social events are also organised for the members, including those from the wider community.

Currently supports projects working with young people at risk of offending or with the rehabilitation of those who have offended, supports the woven textile industry through grants and scholarships and assists three local primary schools in Inner London

Providing good quality childcare in a economically deprived area

Working in the field of Mental Health. Offering direct support to people in crisis, suicide prevention, outreach and advocacy, support for families of those suffering from poor mental health as well as friends and colleagues. Group work, peer support, talks and lectures to lower the stigma surrounding mental health. Advice and signposting. Promotion of Mental Health.

Treatment & rehabilitation for patients suffering serious long term conditions (chronic pain, poor mental health, and Type 2 Diabetes) using anthroposophic therapies and work in a community setting.

Candy Cane Rescue aims to provide a safe environment in which greyhounds and other breeds rescued from China and from other regions with no/poor welfare laws can be cared for. After rescue, the dogs are brought to local vets and when their health allows they travel to the UK/US to their forever, loving homes.

The primary objective of the charity is to engage in charitable activities such as the relief of poverty, preservation of health and the advancement of education.

The aim of the charity is to provide good quality cleaned and ironed clothes and other essential items such as bedding free of charge to anyone who is in need. The clothes are donated from the general public and retailers and then sorted, washed and ironed at our warehouse ready to be delivered /collected by social services, other health professionals or our clients.

Promoting among young people the prevention of crime and the saving of lives by educating and raising awareness concerning issues of serious violence, the negative effects of carrying or using a weapon and the positive effects of surrendering weapons, supporting them to contribute positively within their community and addressing the effects of vulnerability and social exclusion.

Docklands Outreach is a health and preventative social inclusion agency providing comprehensive services to young people, children and families. We work with those who are affected by social, mental or physical issues that can lead to risk of harm by providing therapeutic and practical support.

Three meetings for worship every Sunday at two centres, and midweek group meetings for adults and separately for young people. Pastoral care and activities for parents and babies, children, youth, and senior age group. Weekly food parcel distribution. Christmas hampers through local agencies. Pregnancy crisis advice centre. Daily Pre-school. Support to homeless. Support to those in need overseas.

Snowdrop Project exists to empower survivors of human trafficking to live lives that are no longer defined by their past and we work to reduce the risk of those vulnerable to this crime.We provide support to survivors through 1:1 caseworking, befriending and community activities to empower survivors to live independently.

ICC works with the Irish and Irish Traveller communities, through offering professional and culturally sensitive services. We offer support around accommodation, homelessness, offending, physical and mental health, low income, drug and alcohol use, social and cultural isolation, training and employment. We operate in Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire

Umbrella agency for specialist voluntary sector rape, sexual violence and sexual abuse services.

Free, confidential and non-judgemental support/information to survivors of sexual violence including women, men and children whether recent or historic. Services include: therapeutic interventions (in-person & online), groupwork, telephone/email support, advocacy, training and guidance to external agencies, wider support to family and friends and signposting to other support services.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGION, THE ADVANCEMENT OF ORTHODOX JEWISH EDUCATION AND EDUCATION GENERALLY. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, OLD AGE ILLNESS, BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL AND THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM DISABILITY.

THE CHARITY DONATES MONEY TO POOR PEOPLE AND TO EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS

The object of the Trust is the provision of housing for letting on weekly tenancies to persons of good character who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. Applicants must be resident in Bolton.
