St Albans Chamber Choir's objectives are to give performances of choral music of familiar and rarely performed work, including works commissioned by the Choir; also to foster public knowledge of such music by performing both locally and further afield. The Choir mounts 4-5 public concerts each season, either unaccompanied, or with soloists and piano or orchestral accompaniment.
