two aims: firstly, to increase the knowledge of the history of our town and we publish annually a Bulletin of Research. This information can also be accessed on the Local Studies computer at the Library . Secondly, we hold monthly meetings open to the public where lecturers provide illustrated lectures on a variety of stimulating historical topics.
