Sustaining the CSO, largely made up of local musicians. Presenting public concerts to enhance the cultural life of Colchester. Providing an opportunity for local adult musicians, in a wide age range, to participate in performances. Encouraging links with institutions of musical education. Seeking funding to support all the activities and specifically to subsidise the concert programme.
