The PCC has responsibility for promoting in the parish, the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. Through the Parish Share system, St Matthew's provides financial support to less wealthy churches in the Diocese, but must do better.The PCC has maintenance responsibilities for the church with its adjoining meeting room, and also for Stainbeck Community Hall.
