FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING AND OPERATING A PICTURE RESEARCH LIBRARY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY RESEARCH OR VISUAL OR AUDIO AIDS IN THE DECORATIVE ARTS, ARTS, MOTION PICTURE INDUSTRY AND FOR THE APPRECIATION OF SUCH MATTERS AMONGST THE PUBLIC. Since 1975, the library has supplied a free public access to a large collection of visual references classified by subjects.
