The object of the Society is to grant relief, by way of Allowance or otherwise and either directly or indirectly, to deserving and necessitous members of the Timber Trade in the United Kingdom, in such of its branches as the Trustees consider properly belong to the Timber Trade, and to widows and children of such members.
