The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra is a high quality orchestra of wind musicians and percussionists made up of players from the Yorkshire region. Two important aspects of the objectives of the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra are to promote the work of contemporary composers (especially British) and to encourage the development of young wind and percussion players in the Yorkshire region.
