The Royal Society of Literature celebrates and nurtures all that is best in British literature, past and present. We are the UK's charity for the advancement of literature. We act as a voice for the value of literature, engage people in literature, and honour and encourage writers. Activities include public events, awards and prizes, campaigns and young people's outreach.

The objectives of the charity are to distribute Bibles and Christian books supplied by donors and supporters of the trust for the advancement of the Christian religion, public benefit or education and the relief of the aged, poor, sick or disabled either in the UK or overseas.

We are predominately involved with the production of educational literature regarding the affects of alcohol in health for medical students.The charity is also involved with assisting medical colleagues with alcohol related problems as well as responding to a large number of enquiries from the media and from patients and relatives about alcohol and its affects.

The Williams Syndrome Foundation, founded in 1980, is run for parents by parents with the aim of providing information and support to for people with WS, and those who love, care for and educate them. We fund research into WS to inform and update our guidelines, webinars and publications. We provide opportunities for families to meet and share peer support, online and in person, across the UK.
