The Trust prints and distributes a magazine, "The Overcomer", three times a year. In March July and November. The magazine is a Christian publication and is sent to readers in many parts of the world. We do not distribute funds or do any other charitable acts.

Host film nights, cake bakes, fashion show evenings etc. Run end of term events such as School Discos & Non-uniform days for all year groups. Holding Church Services, Meetings and Lectures on Christian Science.Running a Reading Room and Resource Centre where the Bible and Christian Science literature can be read, borrowed or purchased.All these activities are open to the public.

The Association of Dress Historians (ADH) supports and promotes the study and professional practice of the history of dress, textiles and accessories of all cultures and regions of the world, from before classical antiquity to present day. The ADH supports scholarship through international conferences, publication of The Journal of Dress History and prizes and awards for students and researchers.

General information about the Society can be found on the website www.parsonwoodforde.org.uk. Each year we publish four journals and newsletters. We have the long-term objective of transcribing the Diary of James Woodforde in a series of volumes which are published and also made available to various libraries and statutory depositories. We make an annual gift to the Church at Weston Longville.

The Society was founded over sixty years ago in 1965 to promote understanding and friendship between the peoples of Britain and China. SACU - which has no political affiliations - plays a vital role in providing regular and reliable information about China and the Chinese people including through its publications and events.

The objectives of the BFHS are to advance the education of the public in the study of Family History. We publish a quarterly journal, hold monthly meetings (www.bfhs.org.uk), provide research, publish CDs of Beds Parish Registers, publish Monumental Inscriptions from Churchyards within Beds, run a bookstall & library, provide a range of look-up services and carry out other relevant activities.

The Society organises an annual series of lectures, usually held in Leicester New Walk Museum, for the advancement of education in Literature, Science and the Arts. It publishes proceedings and supports the museum. Natural History and Geology Sections organise further events. The Society has close links with Leicester, De Montfort and Loughborough universities and Leicester City Council.

We support our members by holding an annual weekend conference, a reflective weekend and publishing a journal four times a year. The charity supports farmers and smallholders to keep Black Welsh Mountain Sheep by providing information, marketing support, promotion materials, maintaining a flock book and an updated website. Information is also available to the general public, research facilities and schools. As a traditional native breed they have a role to play in the conservation of the rural environment.

In association with the Union Films of Southampton University Students Union, The Phoenix (Southampton Film Theatre) periodically shows a wide range of films to subscribing members of the general public and members of Union Films. Its aims are to provide entertainment, to encourage an appreciation of the medium of film and to promote the use of film as a record of contemporary life.

The charity can make small grants to assist students, whose home residence is in Acton, with books or equipment. The Trustees also consider other applications from local (Acton) organisations for help with education related needs.

Sharing developments in holistic medicine by means of a member's conference held annually in London in the autumn (also open to guests) and a Journal. The Creation Resources Trust exists to promote belief in Biblical creation as opposed to evolution theory. We provide resources to enable churches & the general public to access relevant facts & information to enable a healthy debate on such a controversial issue. The Housing, Care and maintenance of the Wolseley collection. The provision and arrangement in the wolseley room, or elsewhere of lectures, talks etc on subjects of argiculture and horticulture, garden design, history of places and lands in sussex and the history of old agricultural customs. Purchase of books, letters, maps etc and other objects of interest to be added to the wolseley collection.

We provide a three monthly news bulletin magazine for our members in the Midlands area.We make grants to individuals and provide care and counselling services to people with special needs e.g. people with an ileostomy and we raise funds to cover our activities.

Since 1975, the library has supplied a free public access to a large collection of visual references classified by subjects.

The Society promotes the study of labour history by: production of a journal, Labour History Review; holding and sponsoring conferences; bursaries for postgraduate speakers at such conferences; bursaries for (doctoral-level) research and BA/MA dissertations in labour history; grants for conferences and public events in labour history, especially if targeted at a wider audience.
