A small award winning charity led by and delivered for people affected by brain injury; offering wraparound support, education and rehabilitation to people primarily across the Derby, South Derbyshire and East Staffs area. Services are complementary by design and form a critical aspect of the non-clinical recovery pathway of hundreds of people through the delivery of 1:1 and community activities.

Poppleton Methodist Church has Sunday service at 10:30. During the week we have a range of community activities in our hall including "Coffee on the Green" at : 10:00-16:00 every Monday and Tuesday (10:00-14:00 when Tuesday Fellowship meet).In addition there is a range of clubs and societies that operate from our premises. The Riverside Community Association Limited provides a range of leisure, educational and community activities. These are predominantly delivered at the Riverside Centre, a local community hub which the Association manages. The Association works in partnership with a range of other organisations to deliver its programme.

This charity runs a village hall and a number of its associated activities, as well as letting out its premises to other interest groups. It facilitates community participation by also running a village festival every other year, and has some sectional organisations, panto, choir, drama, short mat bowls, and a small musical production group, as well as computer classes and a community cinema.
