BCA is principally involved in providing a Community Hall to accommodate the activities of its Constituent Groups, as well as providing space for other activities of interest to the residents of Banstead and the surrounding areas both through local charities and on a commercial basis. The programme covers a broad range of leisure and sporting activities and is well supported.

To provide a curriculum, which meets the requirements of Ofsted and the County Council, allowing progression from Playgroup into the Reception year and Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum.

Emsworth Community Association (ECA) manages Emsworth Community Centre for the benefit of all local people. The Centre hosts over 80 different activities each week for people of all ages, from dance and exercise classes through to films, social events, art, adult educational classes and even the Library. ECA is funded mainly by its Members, Fundraising and Room Hire. It was established in 1975.

LPYCA currently operates a Community Centre; Youth sessions one night per week; An Adventure Playground; There is a Luncheon Club for the over 55's which operates 3 days per week; The Community Centre is open Monday to Friday each week.There is now a Community Supermarket based within the community centre which is open to local residents and other people to use

The activities of the Association are to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Shirley and to maintain and manage a Community Centre where those activities can take place.

We proclaim the Christian faith as an Independent Evangelical Church holding regular Sunday Worship Services and providing a range of midweek activities for all age ranges.We are based in East Devon and members of the congregation are actively involved in many local community activities.We practically and financially support several UK based and Overseas Mission Partners.

The advancement of the Christian faith through provision of services for worship and study of the Bible. ACA manages the Ackroyd Community Centre which is used by up to 20 Lewisham based organisations. The Centre hosts activities for children and parents with play and activities opportunities, a nursery, after school club, holiday play-schemes and parental support projects. It also hosts a range of educational and healthy lifestyle activities and manages the Elder People's Support Project.

The primary objects of the charity are to provide services to help and support people in the local community by providing suitable community centred activities in the Soper Halls. The halls are actively managed to hold various markets, seasonal events and community activities. The charity seeks all available funding in pursuit of its objectives of redeveloping the Halls.

THE BUILDING IS USED BY A RANGE OF GROUPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED BY THE CHARITY THROUGH ITS SECTIONS E.G. YOUNG AT HEART AND JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB.IT ALSO PROVIDES SPACE FOR ORGANISATIONS TO MANAGE THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE YOUTH SERVICE, POLICE SERVICE AND A RANGE OF VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS.
