Provision of community centre for the benefit of local residents

Supply of a Building (village hall) for the Community to access; fundraising events; development of community activities within the building. Activities are aimed at residents of Staunton on Wye and neighbouring villages. Residents are all regarded as members of the charity.

To provide or to assist in providing for the inhabitants of the ward of Gretton, "the area of benefit" facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

"Village Hall" fascilities for local community

To maintain the Spencer Hall building it's contents and facilities for use by Sandridge Cricket Club, Sandridge Rovers Football Club, Sandridge Youth Club and the local community. Regular hirers include an after school and holiday club, a line dance class, and a children's music class. The hall holds approximately 120 people seated and is available for hire for weddings, parties etc.

Provision of facilities for local community clubs, educational activities and recreation, and to provide a space for community activities and events.

To manage the Village Hall for the use of residents without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

To provide three rooms of different capacities for the use of various organisations and people from the local community

Rent out rooms to a variety of groups, charitable and misc, also run a luncheon club with the help of volunteers

Maintain, manage and promote, sports playing field, children's play area, public toilet facilities, including disabled access, and use of the Village Hall buildings for community activities.

Provides a meeting place for village activities and local groups. Organises social events for local residents. Provides a field for sporting activities and a children's playground.

The object of the charity is to maintain the village hall for the benefit of the village and surrounding communities

(A) To Promote the benefit of the Inhabitants of Whippingham, without distinction of sex,political religious or other opinions.(B)To establish or to secure the establishment of a Community Centre,and to maintain and manage it.

A Community Centre providing the following groups:- Fibromyalgia Support Group, Art for over 50's, Children's Dance Classes, Sequence Dances, Tea Dances, Indoor Bowling, Slimming World, Pilates, Swing Dance Classes, Christian Fellowship Meetings, Keep Fit Classes, Karate Classes, Urban Dance Classes. Hall available for casual hire.
