The Chaity is responsible for the whole mission of the two Churches that serve the Parish, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The charity runs the New Windmill Hall, Upminster which is available for use by the inhabitants of Upminster and surrounding areas for recreation and leisure time activities. These activities include wedding receptions,birthday and anniversary parties,ballet dancing, ballroom dancing and concerts etc. Local associations also use the hall for their regular meetings.

Bethel Lighthouse CIO is a church and community organisation, that through our Christian faith provides facilities for education, recreation and other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the community in the interest of social welfare. We help to relieve sickness and financial hardship, to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind.

The Arbury Community Association operates the Arbury Community Centre which provides accommodation, activity spaces, refreshments and other facilities to voluntary organisations, family groups and some businesses.

PROVIDE A FORUM WHEREBY THERE IS LIAISON AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT BETWEEN VARIOUS SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS. ACQUIRED THE CLOSED METHODIST CHAPEL FOR USE AS A VILLAGE HALL.

Provision of community activities in Grange Villa and the surrounding area. Activities are provided for the elderly, young people and various interest groups. Catering facilities are also provided with full lunches provided on two days each week.
