The Friends of the Ipswich Museums is an organisation which supports the work of the Ipswich Museum, Christchurch Mansion and the High Street Art Gallery. We help with grants for new museum acquisitions, conservation work, exhibitions and museum development. We hold talks, excursions and social events throughout the year to keep our membership involved in everything that we do.

The charity's principal activities are to provide funds to support the continuing education at Highgate School of any student whose parents have died or whose family financial circumstances have deteriorated unexpectedly, to fund the education at Highgate School of students whose parents could not afford the fees without financial support and to provide educational facilities and equipment.

Raising funds to assist and support Alyn Hospital, Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Centre, Jerusalem.

The charity's principal activity is to advance for the public benefit, education in the United Kingdom, in particular, supporting the aims and objectives of Folkestone Academy.

To provide support for a Talmudical College known as Nahalat Moshe in Jerusalem ,Israel and to promote the Orthodox Jewish religion and religious education and to also provide support for indigent students of the college.

General fundraising

The principal object of the Society is to support the activities of Westminster Cathedral. Funds are raised to further this object from membership subscriptions, donations and by means of events approved and monitored by the trustees

The Charity makes grants to support the advancement of education and science for the benefit of the public, in particular at, or in connection with, CentraleSupelec, a French institute of research and higher education in engineering and science.

Our services include End of Life Home Nursing care, Patient Transport for medical related appointments and a weekly Lunch Club for the isolated and lonely. We provide funding to various local community groups. We have a Charity Shop based in Lechlade.

Sheffield City Council has continued to work with the Friends of Porter Valley to preserve and enhance the natural and historic characteristics of Endcliffe Park.

The objects of the Friends shall be to provide support and assistance to patients of the Blandford Community Hospital and preserve and protect the health of the community by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the NHS or statutory authorities.
