Oystermouth Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and Grade 1 Listed Building. Access and presentation is supervised by this charity which promotes the history and heritage of the site to visitors and provides a venue for many school, college and university students. The castle hosts Medieval Re-enactments and Living History Societies which recreate aspects of life during the Middle Ages.

Involving the local community in the park through regular volunteer events and free children's events. Organise a weekly farmers market to raise funds and encourage people to visit the park, manage 10 artists studios and a flat to raise revenue to fund projects. The Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB) preserves and maintains a unique collection of 13 buses, 3 coaches and 1 car once operated by the former King Alfred Motor Services Ltd, Winchester, between 1920 and 1973. By encouraging the public to experience free travel on preserved buses the group endeavours to create a wider appreciation of public transport.
