Leah's Friends of CF raise money through donations, sponsorship, raffles etc. The money is used in the public interest to assist people who have CF, their families/carers. The Trustees work with Social workers to identify people with CF who are suffering particular hardship. Other nominations are received from within the CF community.

The Friends of St Andrews (FOSA) are volunteers who coordinate a year round programme of activities to raise funds to support educational and local community activities and projects. Each year the FOSA work towards raising funds for a school/community project as well as an external charity. The 2020/21 selected charity is "The Brain Tumour Charity".

It is run by a Board of Trustees which isdependent on the services of unpaid volunteers.

The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: - Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school - Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
