ALL THE EVENTS ARE IN ILFRACOMBE AND DISTRICT AREA.

Giving grants to young people where appropriate, helping their personal development and community awareness; adults with specific needs and local charities in the Horsham area of West Sussex. Supporting national and international aid in disaster relief.

To undertake projects locally in Kent for children sunior citizens and individuals needing support.to support local hospitals, hospice and senior citizens day centre.

Raise funds from the public by holding events and taking part in other organisations events to enable us to help those in need

THE CLUB OPERATES IN THE KEIGHLEY AND THE AIREVALLEY. THE CLUB SUPPORTS WORTHY CAUSES AND CHARITIES IN THE LOCAL AREA AND LIONS CHARITIES INTERNATIONALLY AND NATIONALLY. THE CLUB MEMBERS WORK WITHOUT REWARD, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCUSS POLITICS OR RELIGION. THE AIMS ARE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF.

WLC is part of the largest service organisation in the World that helps those in need. Our activities include fundraising for charity, provision of charitable services to the needy in our local community, and also participating in national and international efforts of the Lions Clubs International. Glastonbury & Street Lions Club (CIO) provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the area. The Club also donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals.

The Club raises money to support mainly local charitable causes (e.g. Food Banks) - but, in keeping with Lions objectives, also supports certain national and international charities (e.g. Prostate Cancer and LCIF Disaster Relief). We also provide 'service' in accordance with our motto "We Serve". Examples include being volunteers marshals at the local fireworks display.

Lions are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help others and support good causes throughout the British Isles. Globally we have more volunteers in more places than any other service club organisation, and love to help others and make things happen. Because we are local, we serve the unique needs of the communities in which we live.

The Petersfield Lions Club supports children and young people, elderly people, people with disabilities, and the general public and mankind. The Club makes grants to individuals, organisations, provides finance to support other charities, provides services to other charitable organisations and the wider community [ i,e the town of Petersfield and surrounding area financed by fundraising.
