We raise monies primarily from two annual events - a Donkey Derby & two-day Bootfair inaugust, and a sponsored dip in the sea on Boxing Day-at the latter participants are invited tonominate a charity-local or national-or a good cause to whom we then send 50% of whatthey raise in sponsorship. We aim to spend locally what we raise.

We raise money from various activities such as marshalling fun runs, having stalls at local carnivals, acting as Santa's and helpers at Christmas. We then spend all of the money raised in the community and on national and International appeals. We help individuals, local Charities and International causes and disasters

EASTWOOD LIONS CLUB is part of Lions Club UK and Lions Club International. We are part of UK Lions Clubs in Area 105CE. Our objects are to Serve the Community we reside in and offer help and services to those needy causes within our area and beyond where necessary. We raise money through fund raising and charity events and donate funds raised as noted above.

ORGANISING AND MANAGING FUND RAISING EVENTS

The Club's activities in the Pocklington and Market Weighton area of East Yorkshire are focussed on raising funds to achieve our objectives. We provide and maintain a fleet of mobility scooters and wheelchairs enabling disabled and elderly members of the community to keep their mobility and improve their independence. in addition grants are given to individuals for their welfare.

Our passion is to help people less fortunate, youth and the elderly within our community and beyond. We are part of Lions Clubs International and operate around the villages to the East and South of York. Our activities include the organisation of a Summer Charity Concert, an Xmas party for the elderly, Santa's Sleigh, Xmastree recycling and running a Coconut Shy at village fetes plus many more..

We, Southall Lions Club CIO, are an autonomous part of Lions Clubs International with a mission statement " To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

Bodmin Lions Club supports the local community in Bodmin, Cornwall raising funds through fundraising for Local, National and Lions International causes. Fundraising events include: Weekly Bingo Nights, Bodmin Ten Tors walk, Christmas Fair, Christmas Sleigh and Horse Fun ride etc. We also support Bodmin St Piran's Day Parade, Bodmin Firework Night and other events in the town.

The Charitable Trust Fund receives funds raised via the Lions Club of Bridgend and donates them to deserving causes.

As part of Lions Clubs International we are part of the worlds largest Service organisation. Our Club is based in Scarborough Borough and covers the Town and immeadiate surrounding villages. We also support authorised National and International causes. We raise funds, 100% of which goes to Charitable Causes as deemed by a majority vote of the whole Club and ratified by the Trustees.

Organizing various fund raising activities during the year for the benefit of local, national and international charities and individuals. Fund raising events include a Duck Race and a Classic Car Rally.

Support local organisations with assistance and/or donations; organise and run a Fete for the local community; provide Message in a Bottle to local pharmacies for free distribution; provide Xmas hampers to Social Services to distribute to vulnerable groups; fund, organise and serve Xmas lunch to vulnerable adults and carers. We operate within the Sale and surrounding areas.

The Lions Club raises funds by washing windscreens at a service area during the summer months,collecting at Tesco dressed as Father Christmas with many helpers, as well as variousfunctions during the year such as a Music Quiz,Easter Egg raffles and car boot sales. Every penny raised goes to good causes such as Sight First, Water Aid, Tacade and numerous contributions to help local youth.

All monies raised for our charity account is used to help people in need. People needing financial assistance also other organisations at home and overseas.

We are part of the Lions Club International group of clubs. We are based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire supporting elderly,disadvantaged and young persons and groups locally.

We are a Lions Club and our aim is to raise funds for Charities supported by Lions Clubs International and local Charities.

During this year we raised funds doing events such as; Beer Festival, boxing day dip, Tombola, Paint Run proceeds from these and other events enabled us to make donations to Lions charities & projects plus other organisations as well as providing finance for community related services & activities within our area.

The Charity, for the most part, raises and spends funds within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme. Funds are raised from the public in various ways and distributed by way of grants to deserving causes, mainly groups. The emphasis is on Special Needs, the elderly and Youth. Currently approximately 5% of our outgoings go to our International Funding.
