Kingswinford & Stourbridge Lions Club (CIO) is a member of Lions International a worldwide service organisation, serving our local community and serving local charitable causes.

Our policy is to give grants at the discretion of the members of Chelmsford Lions Club following investigation and recommendation of the Trustees. Whilst in general there are no restrictions on the purpose for which a grant can be given applications for capital projects and core funding are not normally considered. Applications from Chelmsford and surrounding areas are normally given priority.

Farnborough Lions Club is a member of Lions Clubs International, the largest service organisation in the world. We hold several fund raising events each year with a small percentage of what we raise going to the LCIF Disaster Relief Fund, but by far the majority is spent in the Farnborough area to help the lesser privileged members of our society, other local good causes or small local charities.

Considers requests received from Charities,organisations,Clubs and individuals for financial assistance or physical help or support.Provides and decides upon the extent of financial assistance or help to those requests considered by the Club Members to be deserving causesOrganises and pursues Community Service Projects , annual fund raising events and social events for its Members and guests

Raise monies to distribute to needy causes in our local community and further afield. Provide help and support within our local community.

Financial support and assistance to those in need primarily in the Uttoxeter area but also nationally and internationally via Lions Clubs International Foundation.

The club exists for promoting good citizenship, encouraging members to take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community at home ad abroad. Supporting and promoting for public benefit the voluntary Sector Relief of poverty and relief of those in need by providing humanitarian aid.

Ashford Lions serve their local community by raising funds in order to provide grants and assistance to deserving causes, or to old or young individuals, who are disadvantaged, disabled or in immediate need of help in any way, and seek our support. We also support when possible and appropriate local, National and International community service projects.

To provide help to disadvantaged individuals and groups within the Eden District, UK and Worldwide where appropriate. We raise funds locally through a number of fund raising events to carry out these activities.

BALC operates on the Norfolk-Suffolk boarder around Bungay. We raise money by various means so that we are able to help people of all ages and abilities who may need specialist equipment, financial or physical help. We will give donations to disaster funds organized by other Lions Clubs.All monies raised from the general public are used it help people in need.

General charitable purposes, including fundraising and service activity.

Lions voluteer their time to humanitarian causes helping those less fortunate than themselves. They particularly focus on their local community in the belief that those who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. Wherever there is suffering from natural, or man made, disasters you can count on Lions Club members to provide help. Our motto is "WE SERVE".

We organize various fund raising activities and distribute the amounts raised to both national and local charities, and also to old and young people who require assistance and financial help.

The Lions Club of Liskeard is a charity supporting local needs and also International funds subject to availability of funds.

We hold tombolas at Christmas and Easter. Various fund raising events through out the year, including a Family Fun Day in the summer.

Operating in the North East Lincolnshire area, we generate funds locally by running various events, including but not limited to Quiz nights, Golf Days, Beer Festivals and Assorted Raffles. The money generated is distributed locally to deserving applicants and causes. We have no paid staff, all work carried out is voluntary.

As well as providing grants to deserving causes within Stratford on Avon & Warwickshire and requests from Lions Clubs International for Lions sponsored projects overseas, we undertake a number of community service projects. Examples of current projects are - Life Support Skills Training; Spectacle recycling; Message in a Bottle; Entertainments for elderly and special needs; Community Betterment

Edwinstowe & The Dukeries Lions Club serves the community as well as helping people internationally. Their work with people who are elderly, disabled and or disadvantaged, benefits not only those who are helped, but also the wider community by making it a better place to live and work. They also make grants to national and international appeals (eg to relieve poverty respond to disaster relief.

Glantawe (Swansea Valley) Lions support individuals and organisations in the Swansea Valley. We give out Food Parcels at Christmas. We support local foodbanks within our area. We encourage individuals to remember a loved one at Christmas with our 4 Trees of Light. We run a monthly coffee morning. We collect spectacles as part of our Sight First campaign. We give out Message in a Bottle canisters.

The charity receives donations from fundraising activities carried out by volunteers. Funds raised are applied in support of individuals and charities in the local community and projects of Lions International.

We are a Lions Club which raises funds to support good causes and serve the community.

Operating in the Borough of Great Yarmouth supporting & assisting the underserved of the community as well as promoting & applying the various Lions health education programmes
