The Lions Club of Looe organises numerous public fundraising activities (such as car boot sales and lotteries), public participation activities (such as Carnival Week, Easter egg hunt and the arrival of Father Christmas) at which funds are also raised and also activities that are purely organised for the benefit and enjoyment of others (such as seniors Chritmas parties).

Our area covers Littlehampton, Rustington, East Preston, Arundel, Angmering, Yapton, Clymping and Barnham. Our main aim is to support the local community, but we also support some national and international causes through our own Lions Clubs International Foundation. We also help fundraise for some charities, local groups and organisations and help with local events.

W are part of Lions Clubs International which is a service company offering help to the community in need.

THE CHARITIES ACTIVITIES ARE IN THE MAIN FUNDRAISING, INCLUDING AMONGST OTHERS AN ANNUAL SLEIGH WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS AROUND THE STREETS OF RAYLEIGH, HOCKLEY & HULLBRIDGE. STALLS AT FAIRS/SHOWS AN EASTER EGG RAFFLE, ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY. ALL MONIES BEING GIVEN ENTIRELY TO CHARITY.

Reading Lions is a local group of volunteers who aim to promote the health and wellbeing of the Reading community by improving the local environment, helping individuals in times of need, supporting Reading based community groups and local charities. Every penny raised goes into our community projects. Our aim is to serve the people of Reading and make a difference.

East Grinstead and District Lions Club (CIO) operates in the East Grinstead and surrounding areas in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, raising funds though activities by organising local events such as our May fair, Donkey Derby, Swim Night and selling secondhand books at the local Railway stations. These funds are then used to mainly provide grants for the benefit of those in need in the local community.

Awarding of grants to local organisations/charities including:- Midland Blood Bikes,Midlands Air Ambulance,Broseley School (books for library) ,Home Start Telford, St Georges School Food Bank, 150 Christmas food hampers for families in crisis ,T&W Parkinsons Society,Water aid Appeal, Grants to several local community centres,Providing free prostate cancer screening for over 700 men

Members and friends undertake a number of fundraising,community service and social events throughout the year. Based on recommendations of the welfare committee the charity makes donations to individuals and organisations within the local community and also supports Lions national and international projects.

The Charity operates in the Meon Valley, Hampshire, mainly supporting local individuals and organisations in that area but with a small percentage of the funds raised going to support national or international causes. Funds are raised by donations, door to door & street collections, BBQs at local events and the organisation and participation in village fetes and other charitable functions.

To raise money for local, National and International Good Causes and Charities, and to provide physical and financial assistance to those in need.

Tynedale Lions act to support the local community both by the provision of grants to community organisations and charities active within its area and directly assisting them in their activities. A "Men's Shed", targeted at relieving isolation of men within the area, opened in March 2019. Support also offered to Lions Club International Foundation humane initiatives in disaster areas.

The CIO had no income and no expenditure for the period 1/7/17 to 30/6/18.

We serve our local community and the wider regional, national and international community by running fund raising events throughout the year in order to raise money to help clubs, charities, organisations and individuals who need or seek our help.Our members also provide 'hands-on' assistance as and when we are able to do so.

Providing both financial and practical support to persons in the local area who are vulnerable and/or in need. Financial grants are also made through LCIF outside of the local area in the event of major natural disasters .

Receive funds from Lions Clubs in Britain Isles, Canada, Romania and United States of America and allocate to medical resources in The Balkans.Support to health and wellbeing of 40 orphaned children Uganda

Peterborough Lions Club (CIO-1182110) is a local charity based in Peterborough, we are part of Lions Clubs International, within Multiple District 105 (British Isles) and part of District 105CE covering the counties of Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire.

The trust applies its income for any purpose that is charitable according to the law of England and Wales whether for the benefit of any individual or group of people or for the benefit of any other organisation established for charitable purposes.

The Charity raises funds from general public and donors by holding events and carrying out projects. They make donations to support disaster relief and projects around Watford area from the funds raised and they also take part in community services.

Shirley Lions CIO has taken over the activities and assets of Shirley Lions Trust Fund (Charity registered No 1024193). Encouraging service minded people to serve their community without personal reward. Charitable donations are made to individuals and organisations locally, nationally and internationally wherever and in whatever field the members of the Club agree that help should be given.
