Scout group with activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Provision of Scouts, Cubs & Beavers for the young people in the Halesworth area.

The 2nd Saltash Scout Group acts under the umbrella of the Scout Association.We have 8 sections 3 Beavers, 3 cubs and 2 scout.

Scout Troop, Cub Pack & Beaver Colony

Scout group with Beaver, Cub and Scout packs. Being on the tow-path of the Thames at Putney there is an emphasis on water based activities.

We didn't have many activities during 2020 due to the Pandemic when we couldn't have face to face meetings. However, Scouts had a very active Zoom meetings In early part of year, Beavers celebrated Chinese new year, had a night hike and cooked pancakes. Cubs visited a synagogue, made pancakes, visited a Fire station and some went to the Science Museum. Scouts went ice skating, had a Winter camp

Our group is part of the Scout Association and provides a meeting place for young people to take part in scouting activities as part of the programme provided.

We change lives by offering 6- to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. This everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers.

We carry out a programme of activities as set out by The Scout Association for young people aged 6 - 14.

Youth activities

The provision of Scouting in the Bicester area.

Running Scouts, Cubs and Beavers in the Bray and Holyport area as a unit of the Scout Association.Promoting the development of young people in achieving physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals,responsible citizens and as members of their communities, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership.

Scouting activities

SCOUTING under Royal Charter 4th January 1912, as amended 19 July 1991.

PROVIDES TRAINING, DISIPLINE AND ACTIVITIES AND ADVENTURE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE OF SCOUTING AGE.

The Village Hall provides a facility for community groups. Current activities include W.I., Indoor Sports, Yoga, Youth groups, 1st Illogan Scouts, Jenny Dance, Martial Arts, Canasta Club (U3A), Friends of Manaingham Wood, & Cornwall Scale Modellers. The hall is also used for private functions and by touring drama groups. The overal aim is to support community development.
