St Saviours Scout Group runs a Beaver, Cub and Scout section which provides weekly sessions for approx. 70 boys.

STAPLEGROVE SCOUT GROUP OFFERS A WIDE AND VARIED PROGRAMME (INCLUDING TRADITIONAL SCOUT ACTIVITIES, CRAFT AND CREATIVE PROJECTS AND THE MORE ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES FOR THE OLDER CUBS AND SCOUTS!). WEEKLY MEETINGS ARE HELD EITHER INDOORS IN THE ???UNIQUE??? SCOUT HUT, OUTSIDE USING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY OR ACTIVITIES BASED AT HUISH WOODS (BLACKDOWN DISTRICT SCOUT CAMP SITE).

Providing children and young adults with the opportunity to meet together weekly, to learn more about their community and the wider world. To help others with fund raising, as well as learning life skills and trying fun things like cooking and camping.

Scouting activities for Young People ranging in age between 6~14.5

Education including Young Leader training, basic life support. Faith activites, including attending church. Recreation including canoeing, camping, climbing, abseiling, football, games. Scouting activities including knots, backwoods cooking, badge work.

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, abseiling, cycling and canoeing while having fun. We meet weekly, catering for youngsters aged 6 to 18 supporting them with skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.
