PROVIDING SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 13 YEARS.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES. THE 15TH BRIGHTON SCOUT GROUP DOES THIS BY PROVIDING A BALANCED PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.

Scouting - Working with young people aged 6 - 18 on a weekly basis. Games and activities, including camping and other outdoor activities, working towards badges, helping in community activities.

The activities of the charity are to provide the facilities and finance to enable the section leaders of the scout group to provide the training and development of young people as prescribed by the scout association.

Education and training in Scouting activities

Provide scouting activities for young persons aged 5 - 14 years.

Scouting activities for ages six to fourteen years.

Scout Group, various activities for children aged 5 to 16. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, and communication. Scouts take part in various activities. It?s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.

Fordhouses area of Wolverhampton. Provide activities for young people aged 6 and over.

Recreation Field - Used for football ,village events such as firework display, village fetes, facilities available for local organisations such as Girl Guides, Scouts, activity clubs, cricket etc. Also includes, 5 a side area and skateboard park

Scout group, operating meetings and activities for Beevers, Cubs and Scouts. We have weekly meetings trips and camping activities.

The group runs a Scout Group registered with the Scout Association. A progressive programme of scouting activities is provided to children from ages of 6 to 18. There are three sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Each section is lead by volunteer adult leaders who receive training from the Scout Association. The Group is based at Our Lady of the Wayside in Shirley, Solihull.

EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

The Group's Beaver, Cub and Scout sections provide activities based largely on the national Scout Association's programme for each. The Group also ensures a wide variety of outdoor activities with a number of camps in particular for Cubs and Scouts and the latter can participate in a District organised "Dovetrek" event spread over several weekends.
