A village hall providing facilities for the people of Hunsdon and its surroundings. The hall is well used by local groups, Scouts, Local History Society, Parish Council, Carpet Bowls, Badminton, Youth Club, Over Three Score Club, etc. and is available for hire for private functions.

The Council promotes Scouting in the Hornchurch District by supporting the 17 Scout Groups in the geographical area of Ardleigh Green, Corbets Tey, Cranham, Elm Park, Emerson Park, Hornchurch, Rainham and Upminster.

The Group promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving this is aim is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Law and Promise.

We provide a balanced programme of activities for children aged 6-15 to find out about the world in which they live, to encourage them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and to help develop their creative talents. We also provide opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes

The charity assists Scout Groups in the Malverns area to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Activities and development for young people to develop Skills for Life

The Charity is a community based Scout Group. The Group is made up of 3 sections catering for boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 14 1/2. Each section has a varied programme of events throughout including camps, oudoor activites such as archery, wall climbing and orienteering. As well as outdoor pursuits the children take part in craft activities and are involved with the local community.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 33rd Sutton Coldfield (1st Bannersgate) Scout Group give young people of Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

1st Crookham Scouts provides adventure and educational development for children from ages 6 through to 14, in accordance with the declared Scout Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR).
