Administration, Development and Support of eight Scout Groups and five Explorer Scout Units in West Hertfordshire.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, responsible citizens and members of their local national and international communities. The method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attracttive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law.

The District arranges events and support across the all the zones of the Scouting programme.

1st Denmead Scouts activity engages and supports local young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society and learning skills for life.

Education and development of young people aged 6 to 18 years living in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and the local villages.

To assist Scout Groups within our District.To encourage Children, Young People and Adults to become involved in Scouting.To organise events within our District for all Scout members.

YOUTH CLUBROOM HIRE FOR BODIES E.G. PARKINSONS, KEEP FIT. ART CLASSES, HITCHIN FRIENDSHIP CENTRE, SCOUTS,SLIMMING WORLD, RUSSIAN BALLET, CHILDREN'S DANCE GROUPS, SALSA DANCING, SURE START CENTRE, BINGO, SEWING GROUP, CHURCH GROUP. CHRISTENING, WEDDING AND BIRTHDAY PARTIES.

The Memorial Hall is used by a wide section of the local community.i.e Pre School,Mums & Toddlers,,Cubs & Scouts for the youth. Golden Circle(Ex WI)Flower Group,Horticultural ,Dancing Dog Training.keep fit classes.

The Walton & Weybridge District Scouts acts as the head office support team for seven Scout Groups located within its area. District events are organisedto help bring the Groups together. it also monitors the process of scrutenizingthe leaders credentials within the groups, and ensures that they undergo proper training where necessary.

In partnership with adults, young people:enjoy what they are doing; learn by doing; participate in varied and progressive activities; make choices for themselves; take responsibility for their own actions; work in groups; take increasing responsibility for others; take part in activities outdoors;make and live out their Promise.

The Scout movement provides training in life skills and outdoor activities for children and young people aged 6 to 21 years.

Runs 2 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 3 Scout Troops. There are between 20 and 30 in most sections, mostly boys but an increasing number of girls. The emphasis throughout all sections is to have fun whilst being challenged in hands-on activities they don't get to do at school.

The District supports all the Scout Groups within the district in the aim of the Scout Association "To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities."

Co-ordination of scouting activities in the city of York and ownership of shared assets.

The Community Centre offers activities to all age groups, our activities include Mother and Toddler Groups, Keep Fit, Scouts, Dance Classes, over 60's Group, Religious Meetings and Martial Arts

We are a Scout Group that runs one Beaver Group two Cubs Groups and a Scout Group. We cater for children between the ages of 6 and 15.

Development of young people from the age 5yrs to 18yrs in the ways of scouting and boating activities.

The Group provides activities and interesting things to do for boys and girls aged 6 to 25, in accordance with the principles and rules of The Scout Association. The Group also runs an adult section that supports Scouting.
