Activities for young people run under the auspices of The Scout Association and The Guide Association. The Group currently has six active sections: GUIDING - Rainbows, Brownies, GuidesSCOUTING - Beavers, Cubs, Scouts

The objectives of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The Aim of The Scout Association is to promote thedevelopment of young people in achieving their full physical,intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, asresponsible citizens and as members of their local national andinternational communities.

The sections of the Group meet weekly in term time and provide games and training as part of the balanced training programme which works to achieve the Aim of the movement. As part of the training there are also outings and camps during the year by the sections.

Running of Scout Building and providing facilities for local groups.

The 5th Harpenden Scout Group will carry out activities as agreed by the Scouting Association.The purpose of scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens ans as members of their local, national and international communities.

Scouting for boys and girls in Marden

Provides Scouting activities and training to young people aged 6 to 14 in the Wargrave area through weekly meetings and summer camps

Scouting Activities through Beaver, Cub and Scout troops

To provide the opportunity for young people aged 5 years and over to participate in an organisation dedicated to giving education and recreational pursuits in a safe and fun-loving environment. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills and take part in events not otherwise available.

Scout group activities include: camps & trips, various activities at HQ: arts & crafts, physical activity, social guidance, towards obtaining badges for various levels of scouting fundraising also undertake for other charities.

As Scouts we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more, and be more. Each week the 29th Southampton Scout Group give young people of Southampton the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Seaton Scout Group aims to serve the village of Seaton and surrounding area with a safebut challenging environment for young people aged 6-25. We provide a structured andprogressive curriculum based on the Scout Association Policies and Ethos, which aim topromote adventure, responsibility, personal development and Fun.
