The Rotary Club of Hereford Elgar Rotary is part of Rotary International. As such, we operate within RI governance arrangements, whilst being an independent UK charity registered with the UK Charities commission. We raise funds to support those most in need locally, nationally and internationally. We also support End Polio Now and Rotary Foundation.

One of 2 Rotary Clubs in Northwich that provide an opportunity for community service for both men & women. Our fund raising activities include:The Northwich Beer Festival & Christmas collections. Funds raised support charities in Cheshire and the North West of England as well as Rotary International initiatives.

Rotary Club activities undertaken generally in the Reepham District of Norfolk, fund raising & the provision of member's labour to local worthwhile public interest projects.

Our main sources of charity income are: Christmas Float Collections at local supermarkets and around the streets, attendance and fairs and fetes with Tombolas and Lucky Dips, Easter Egg and other raffles, and donations from local businesses.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide support and assistance by way of time, talents and financial aid/donations. Activities are undertaken locally, nationally and through international projects. A key maxim of the Rotary movement is "Service above Self" and members give service as volunteers.

Income is from fund-raising events either on our own or in conjunction with other charities/non-charities. Examples of the events are Speaker Dinners, Raft races on the River Ouse, Charity Golf Days and Cycle Challenges.We try to get to know a charity before providing funds by asking the charity to provide a speaker and tell about the charity. Mainly providing support for local 'organisations'

Droitwich Lions raises money through activities that are enthusiastically supported by the community, which enables the club to provide funds and practical assistance to a range of causes, the vast majority of which are local. The running costs of the club are met by its members, which ensures that all net proceeds are donated to beneficiaries.

In common with Rotary Clubs everywhere, the Rotary Club of Poulton-Le-Fylde helps deserving causes in the local area, nationally, and internationally.
