MEMBER OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL - WORLDWIDE ORGANISATION OF OVER 1.2 MILLION MEMBERS. OBJECT IS TO PROVIDE SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY BY UTILISING THE SKILL SETS OF THE MEMBERS. CLUB OPERATES IN THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. MONEY IS RAISED LOCALLY BY HOLDING RAFFLES, STREET COLLECTIONS, A VARIETY OF FUND RAISING EVENTS.

Funds have been raised by members through activities such as the Braunton Village Fair, Car Tour, Braunton Wheels, and barbeques together with public collections from the Wishing Well and Santa's Sleigh with other events and donations from individuals and other organisations. Grants have been made to individuals and organisations in accordance with the general objectives of the Trust.

Bletchley Milton Keynes Lions Club (CIO) is part of the Lions Clubs International . Our purpose is to serve local communities and support wider Lions global activities. The clubs raises funds locally both for specific charitable causes and for a general charitable fund. Members also provide assistance to other local charities and activities.

Thanet Lions Club purpose is through service and financial support to provide help for those in need. Fundraising,primarily in the Thanet area of Kent, provides the financial support and as a consequence most of the funds are allocated through grants to the local community. Some funds are used to support other projects in UK and wider world where people are in Need.

Rotary Club of Wigan is part of the everyday life of Wigan and is a catalyst for a number of landmark community developments in health, education and culture. It provides support for local charities and financial assistance to charities involved in vital humanitarian work in needy parts of the world. As part of the worldwide Rotary movement, our work is mirrored by Rotary clubs across the country.

Our activities include serving the local community & local organisations by either donating our time are by way of a grant. These organisations range from support to the elderly or local schools. We encourage people to serve thie community without personal reward. Grants are also made to international disaster relief. We operate mainly in and around the town of Tring.

Promoting the principles of good citizenship through Lions Clubs International programmes as needed in the Stone Urban and Stone Hinterland areas focusing on the development of youth, the support of the aged and infirm, promoting healthy living and well-being awareness and encouraging like minded people to volunteer in support of our programmes.

Support local and national charities as required via manpower, or fundraising events,fundraising itself or raising awareness.Creation of community days in the local area,including health awareness day,blood pressure screenings and family fun days.

Organising and running the Weston-super-Mare Sea Shanty and Folk Music Festival, then distributing the proceeds after costs to nominated local charities. Current nominated charities are Weston-super-Mare RNLI and Weston-super-Mare Lions Club.Musical Performance in aid of good caused such as the nominated charities above

Bexley & Sidcup Lions Club CIO is a part of the Lions International, serving the community by providing help/service to the needy with the likes of donation for Food Banks, Clothes Banks, providing Toys, facilities for community/care centres, environmental activities, international aid and medical research. This though organising activities such as sponsored walks and social events.

Fund raising arises from activities carried out by members of the Rotary Club of Tonbridge who pass the surplus to the trustees for distribution
