The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL/SPORTS FACILITIES FOR THOSE WITH LEARNING AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. ALSO SOCIAL ACTIVITIES/OUTINGS SEVERAL TIMES PER ANNUM, INCLUDING A WEEKEND AWAY AT, FOR EXAMPLE, A LEISURE PARK. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SHORT MAT BOWLS, SWIMMING, TABLE TENNIS, BOCCIA, NEW AGE KURLING.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITYEXTERNAL HIRINGS

Community Centre for use by village and surrounding area for all age groups for sports, fund raising, keep fit, marshall arts and many other social activities, including Day Centre. There is also a library, play group and Doctors branch surgery on the site.

The charity provides transport, day care activities and meals for our Monday Club for 30 people. On Tuesdays and Fridays Lunch Clubs are organised and run by volunteers. Approximately 100 meals per week are cooked on the premises. Other social activities such as trips and celebrations take place throughout the year.

Meeting place for community & social groups, including over 60s, dance schools, playgroups, exercise classes, sewing & flower groups, games for elderly, drama group, and talks by visiting speakers.

MSSC is a sports and social club for visually impaired people and sighted members. We run regular cycling, walking, bowls, darts, swimming, canoeing and social activities including quizzes, theatres, brewery tours and much more from our base in Colliers Wood, Merton. We try to partner with other organisations in Merton and beyond that support us through fundraising and shared activities.

Village hall is a central hub providing a meeting place for sports and social activities to benefit the health and well being of the local and wider community. We offer space for small businesses to meet. The hall is available to hire for gatherings including anniversaries/ celebrations/ weddings. From time to time charitable donations are given to other organisations.

Hire out of the Hall to local residents, social clubs, local charities, schools and colleges and provide social functions for the community.

To manage the running of the local village hall for use by local groups and to maintain the hall. To actively raise funds for the upkeep of the hall so that it available for village use. To encourage social activities in the village community.

IT IS ALSO AVALIABLE FOR HIRE BY PEOPLE LIVING OUTSIDE THE AREA.THE HALL IS USED BY GROUPS SUCH AS THE W.I.,PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR MEETINGS AND THE HALL'S COMMITTEE PUT ON VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE THREE VILLAGES.
