We are a social group that meets every Tuesday to provide help and support to the members and partners. approximatly 50% of our group have one of the forms of dementia. We have a monthly social outing visiting local places of interest

A weekly social club for the elderly of Waddesdon and the surrounding area.

The club was founded in 1968. We help people with various disabilities to use laptop computers. In this context we provide other social activities including an annual holiday. We meet weekly each Friday at the Priory Church Hall, Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

LuvEly, a charity based at the Lighthouse Centre. Our doors are open for people of all backgrounds, no matter their personal beliefs or situation in life. We aim to bring together the community, offering practical help and tackling isolation. Through social clubs for the elderly, youth clubs. The community fridge (LuvEly Pantry) tackles food waste and helps those in need,

We promote the Christian religion in various ways - Sunday and mid-week services, Prayer Meetings and Bible Studies. We hold regular social activities both in our church premises and at other locations depending on the activity. We have a very active Sunday School as well as mid-week outings for those who attend. Three full length plays are performed each year at Daneside Theatre, Park Road, Congleton, Cheshire. Every two years a one act playwriting competition is organised which culminates in a one act play festival. Social activities also take place, including visits to performances at other theatres.

Sign and Share Club hold meetings across Pembrokeshire where Deaf, deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, and deaf-blind people can meet and enjoy social activities in order to reduce isolation and loneliness. The club also has a hearing aid repair service which is offered at these meetings and, where appropriate, through home visits. We also work with businesses to improve access for d/Deaf people.

We are one church, with two buildings providing worship & prayer meetings & social activities. Facilities are used by many people from toddlers to seniors. We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We provide child care for 2-5 yr old children with various activities to promote learning thro play, to teach social activities ie. learning to share and care for each other. Also to prepare - settle in early learning for when they go into full time education.

The Charity's activities are to operate and maintain a Village Hall as a facility available to all members of the community and local organsations to hire for their various meetings and social activities at reasonable hiring rates. As such it maintains and operates the Village Hall building and surrounding grounds for the benefit of the local community of all ages.

During the financial year 2011-2012, the UCJC has supported both deprived and disadvantaged members of the church and non-members locally and across the UK by providing a range of social activities, care, and general support including home visiting and befriending, emotional support, advice and information sharing, guidance, advocacy. .

The Church provides public worship in St Alban's and weekly prayer meetings. It also runs a parent and toddler group and various social activities for the local community e.g. craft cafe, art group. We support charities who provide practical and financial support to people in need in the UK and abroad and organisations that provide outreach into local schools and other outreach organisations.
