Happivale is a social club for adults of all ages who have learning and/or physical disabilities who use the club on Monday & Friday evening, Friday morning and some Saturdays from within a 20 mile radius.

Forget-Me-Not Buddies is a group run by Carers and Volunteers that specifically offers subsidised social activities and interaction for persons living with Dementia and their Carers. It offers support from people who have walked the full path of the Dementia journey, from diagnosis to beyond demise of the diagnosed. The group is based in Tameside and accepts members from surrounding areas.

We provide regular speech therapy sessions for some of our members. We organise educational workshops for parents, teachers and other educational support staff from local schools. We organise and run an Early Development Group, a Teen Club and a Young Adults Group for some of our members. We hold social activities for families to meet and get to know each other.

Maintenance and management of Nash Mills village hall. The hall is used by the greater community for social activities and gatherings. The hall is self funding and we receive no financial support for running costs from the Parish or local council.

To improve the facilities at Prince George Duke of Kent Court and to provide social activities for all the residents

The provision of a range of intellectual, physical and social activities in the form of lectures, talks visits and field excursions. The basis of the educational content comes from the membership and reflects their interest, expertese and interests. Much of the teaching is done inhouse.

New Life Church Catford meets regularly on Sundays for a preached sermon and social activities at Athelney Primary School in Bellingham. We also have regular mid-week bible study meetings (Fellowship groups) and monthly prayer gatherings. All are welcome.

HiVitality runs residential retreats for people from across the UK who have been diagnosed HIV positive. We offer peer support, facilitated discussion groups and complementary therapies, amongst other social activities .

THE CHARITY PREMISES ARE USED BY VARIOUS COMMUNITY GROUPS FOR SPORTING AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS FOOTBALL, CRICKET, BOWLS, KARATE, KICKBOXING, CHEERLEADING AND TABLE TENNIS. THERE IS ALSO AN ANNUAL GALA DAY AND REGULAR CAR BOOT SALES. THE FUNCTION ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR HIRE BY THE PUBLIC FOR THINGS SUCH AS PARTIES AND WEDDINGS AND THE SEPARATELY RUN SOCIAL CLUB WHICH IS ON SITE CAN PROVID

To promote the intellectual, emotional and social well-being of disabled residents in Ampthill and central Bedfordshire, in particular by the fortnightly provision of facilities for recreation, entertainment and social activities and by providing suitable disabled-friendly transport and other forms of assistance to enable members to access the facilities in a safe and secure manner.

Cotswold Boatmobility provides opportunities for accessible boating, using specially adapted boats, on the Stroudwater canal for those unable, through reasons of disability or mobility issues, to access traditional boats. Friends, families and carers are also able to participate in this social activity in the open air in a peaceful context.
