PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL/SPORTS FACILITIES FOR THOSE WITH LEARNING AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. ALSO SOCIAL ACTIVITIES/OUTINGS SEVERAL TIMES PER ANNUM, INCLUDING A WEEKEND AWAY AT, FOR EXAMPLE, A LEISURE PARK. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SHORT MAT BOWLS, SWIMMING, TABLE TENNIS, BOCCIA, NEW AGE KURLING.

A fund raising organisation that exists to support and augment the education offered by the school to its pupils.Although some events are run specifically as social activities for the children, most are organised to generate funds. The money pays for extra teaching aids and general equipment for use throughout the school.

Members bi monthly meetings which include social activities, speakers, entertainment and refreshments. Meetings held in St Mary & St Cuthbert church parish centre, Chester-le-Street.

Northumbria Advanced Motorcyclists (NAM) is a affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Our main aim is to promote safe riding. Our volunteers train riders in the Northumbria area to reach an advanced standard which is recognised by the IAM. NAM also promotes social activities and charity fundraising for local charities.NAM works closely with the Police and Fire and Rescue Services.

The objects and aims of the Charity, are to make available information and literature on the disease and details of locally available resources. A prime aim is to raise the awareness of Prostate Cancer, and associated issues, both locally and nationally, and to give priority to self-support for cancer patients by promoting regular talks, social activities, and providing time for these.

To promote and develop community spirit by making the Parish hall available for use by local residents, this includes organising various social activities.

We run a social club for people with & without disabilities to socialise as equals. Disco, bingo, raffle and a cafe weekly. We organise theatre trips, bowling, days out & holidays. From June 2024 we will be based at Fenton Community Hall, offering the building for hire for events & celebrations. We are building strong community links to expand our local offering.

The Rainow Village Bus runs a Community Bus on behalf of the residents of Rainow and other neighbouring communiities. The facility is run by a group of around 10 volunteers. It is available for hire by all the charitable, voluntary, community and social groups in the local area.

We provide a weekly social club for children aged 7 - 18 years.

To provide village hall facilities and entertainment for the Village of Bradwell-on-Sea and its surrounding area. It is also provides a place for where local residance can meet for social activities.
